The Acacia Stitch is an intriguing stitch pattern that would make a breezy blanket, interesting table runner or place mat and would work up great for a summer top. This pattern takes a little time to get into with its gap in between stitches, but after a couple rows, a rhythm and pattern will begin and it becomes an enjoyable stitch pattern. Let me know what you think of this stitch and share any work you create with it!

Very lovely stitch. I keep seeing all these stitches I love but can't decide what to do with them. Not that I even have the time, but it would be nice to make something. Thanks for this tutorial.

First, thank you, Tiffany, for the tutorial. Pretty pattern. Second: Yay! A second pattern where having large hands pays off! My thumb will act perfectly as a 3/4" measurement guide. (The other is Solomon's aka Lover's Knot pattern; yarn wrapped around my index finger brings stitches to the perfect height without extra pulling) I have always been bothered by my large hands& get frustrated at times like when Crystal from Bagoday started putting fringes on an item with her fingers... At first I was confused... Then I realized that my hands would look like giant hands if I were stitching alongside her in person and reached for a large hook to put my fringes on lol

Haha I love it! When your hands can serve a double purpose it is super helpful. 😄. I'm so glad you enjoyed this crochet stitch. And thanks for sharing the other crochet stitch names as well! Always love playing with new stitches. 🤗🧡🧶

Thank you, Tiffany. I got a crochet book "30 easy-to-crochet pattern stitches" and this stitch was one I thought looked beautiful but I couldn't really understand the way it was written. You made it easier to understand, even though you said exactly what the paaren said, lol. Just seeing it done made all the difference. Lots of love and yarny hugs 💓

Thanks so much for this beautiful pattern. Your videos are great to follow along to and I love the way you explain everything slowly and clearly. Just wondering if you have a video on how to line a blanket when it’s finished to make to even warmer ? 🥰

Hi TraceLea! I'm so glad you enjoy my videos! What a cool idea, lining a blanket to make it warmer. I have not done that yet but it sounds like a great idea! I will have to give that a try. Thanks for asking! 🤗🧡🧶

Hi, Tiffany! I absolutely love this pattern. I have to admit that I was a little intimidated by it at first but quickly overcame it as I know how great of a teacher you are and knew I could follow you. Thank you so much! I was wondering if this pattern can be made as squares (granny squares) of different colors to be made into a blanket? Would it be difficult to sew together? Again, Thank you! Can’t wait to hear back from you. ❤

Hi Virginia! Interesting thought! I bet you could make a bunch of smaller swatch sections of this stitch and join them together. It would definitely take some playing to see how many stitches to add around the swatch so you could attach each square together. But other than that, completely do-able. I'm so glad you love the acacia stitch pattern! I do to. I always envision it as a wearable for some reason. Have fun designing your project Virginia! Please keep me updated how it goes. 😊🧡🧶
