University has me questioning myself if l am even smart enough to be here. However, thank you for sharing your suffering with us. We see you and we are using these 17 minutes as l break from the academic burnt-out so that you can get your bag girl. I hope that makes you feel better. You are so brilliant at explaining the emotions most students are going through. I am an international student and some days l feel like the world is falling over me since l am running on -6 hours of sleep.
Eish and the sleep is a BIG one hey. I always find my quality of life improves exponentially when I don’t compromise on my sleep. Your videos make me realise what im about to go through from next year, i applied for act Sc at UCT and Wits. Do you think it would've been any better if you did not do it at UCT? Also would you recommend a grade 12 learner to do acturial sciences after your experience and is it worth the struggle?
Hmmm I’m actually not too sure. I don’t have anyone I know on Wits that I can compare act sci experiences to 🤔 I am not sure yet if it’s worth the struggle 😂 My friends who are working now say that it is! But I’m not there yet 🤭

Hey, we adapt to what we have. So to you your life may be hard and to me my life may be hard. To some random person at the other end of the world, our lives are easy. 🤷🏾♀️ It’s all relative. I wrote the life contigency exemption paper in June, And I didn't get the exemption. It was a hard thing to process hey especially because I thought I got it😂, But next year we try again!!

So, when I say that the light behind my eyes is gone, I just mean that I’m feeling devoid of motivation, joy, or purpose. So it’s just a poetic or metaphorical way of saying that I’m “dead inside.” For dramatic purposes of course 😂
So it really depends. They decide the pass mark per paper per session depending on the marks of the people who wrote. Some have a pass mark of 55% or 63%. So basically if everyone is going really well the pass mark will be higher. And VISA versa.
