“The late xxxxs" is sometimes used to mean the later years of a decade, but it is also used to mean the later decades of a century. For example, "the late 1880s" usually means somewhere around 1887-1889. "the late 1800s" usually means somewhere around 1870-1899.

@@bkbee8898 it was too good bro and I hope to touch 6.5 to 7 bands. ....... The thing that I was worried about is the invigilators ....but they were too friendly.

@@theway_up to be honest I just get ideas from sir Asad yaqub lectures instead of doing alot of practice but this doesn't mean that you don't have to practice... and I don't know why by seeing his videos it makes me feel like that IELTS is easy.

I feel it is a mistake at 5:45. When you say "late 1800s", you are referring to the time period that occurred towards the end of the 19th century. Specifically, this time period refers to the years between 1875 and 1899.

You are right. The late 1800s means the later years of that decade. He wanted to tell us how they say the centuries; for example, when they say the 18th century in the questions, you need to look for the years between January 1701 and December 1801. But this was not the case here.

didn't understand the 13th one - is it because of past and present? When it is declared to be extinct, and the statement says rarely made now so shouldn't it be false? why would they even do it rarely when its declared to be extinct? and why NOT GIVEN?
