@@AlwaysTalkinBallI disagree with you. They will go 7-5 or 8-4 at best. They get a favorable schedule in that SMU has most of their challenges or guaranteed losses at home except the game at Louisville, which will be 1 of 4-5 losses they will have this season. No way does SMU sweep BYU and TCU at home. It helps both games are at home but at best they will split those two games if not lose both. They will lose to Florida State and at Louisville the next game. So a 2-4 start or 3-3 at halfway mark through the season is probable and likely. They should win at Stanford but at Duke and the final game of the season in their stadium hosting Cal will determine if they are 6-6, 7-5, or 8-4. Now if they beat both BYU and TCU, they could still lose the next four games at home against Florida State and then three road games against Louisville (definitely a loss), Stanford, and then at Duke to be 4-4 with four games to go and again the last regular season game at home against Cal will determine 7 or 8 wins. Cal could be looking for their 8-9 win season as well.
