Hi, your content is awesome.Quick question, how do we establish NCI% if not given. Is there a way around it? Exam Kit question by Kaplan 26.2 to asks for NCI without having the NCI % specified.
Hello sir What is the logic behind this that whenever parent company sell to subsidiary we have to deduct 100% of realized profits from retain earnings but when subsidiary sell to parent company we should deduct from retain earnings of subsidiary the percentage that subsidiary hold, why we not deduct 100%? And why parent company should deduct 100%?
For calculation of group retained earnings.. we calculate the h r.e plus the h's share in retained earnings of s ... I.e h profit here and the h percent of profit in s profit.... where. S profit is the r.e on post acquisition os s.c. I.e the n.a. on rd minus n.a at date of acquisition ×h%..... so we include the retained earnings already given in question both of h and percent of h in s ... 😊.. okay....!
34:26 sir aap ne kaha tha k subsidiary k retained earnings mein change ayga aur ord shares mein aur share premium mein changes nahi ayga but now you’re saying k hum inka kuch nahi karenge... im confused here.....plz explain this again
Bro... hum subsidiary co. I.e s ke share capital and share premium ka kuch nhi karenge ... so h co. Ka share. Capital and share premium will be the same for the consolidated statement of financial position I.e balance sheet.... and retained earnings will now become the group retained earnings that u have to calculate by the working .note... okk😊
