Banjee is notorious for going into realms illegally. In World Race, he has a scene with Skeet and another team mate going into a realm on their own. He says “Rules are meant to be broken”

It's a shame this series didn't get the ending it deserved. To this day whenever I watch the cliffhanger of Vert's dad Major Wheeler working for the Silencerz, I've been wanting closure. I'm 27 now and even though it's been 15 years, I still want closure for this series. I hope one day Mattel listens and will finally finish this series.

Theory: Timeline as follows Racing realms open up Tezla, Silencerz and Drones all start going through realms after figuring out what's going on. Tezla sends Banjee in but he crashes and goes into the water. Silencerz are only sending in Major Wheeler at the moment because they don't want to risk too much when they don't know anything about the realms. Major Wheeler rescues Banjee but needs to use the EDR to get him back as he requires medical attention from the crash. Drones all die to swamp beast as they haven't mastered the realms gimmicks yet. Back in World Race, only a human could take the wheel of power, so maybe there's a similar situation going on that even if the drones win, they can't get an accelecharger unless there's a human racing against them. So if after rescuing Dresden and Banjee, the silencerz stopped racing, the drones would be racing nobody as Tezla ran out of drivers, not wanting to risk Kadeem after losing Dresden and Banjee already. But eventually the Silencerz start racing again, giving them and the drones chancess to get some accelechargers. Tezla, realizing this, knows that he needs to urgently get some drivers to compete, as if he waits too long, he won't have a chance. Now because of the delay, the drones and Silencerz already have a few accelechargers by the time Tezla can get his drivers to his accelodrome. This is basically where the movies pick up.

One theory about a tiny detail I have is that Kurt and Taro didn’t get picked by Tesla to go into the cosmic realm because Tesla thought that they were the best two drivers he had and he wanted them available just in case for the ultimate race. Also hence why they were both sent into the other realms so much more than the other drivers. Tesla thought Kurt and Taro would win the most accelechargers. I’m pretty sure Taro was sent into every realm and Kurt was sent into almost all of them.

Because I had only seen AcceleRacers and not World Race when I was little, I was always mystified and confused as to why Banjee's car was shown haha, I had no idea what that was all about!

This isn’t originally my theory, just put here from memory. Back in ignition, Tezla did have an EDR, and used it to escape from RD-L1. It spit him back out at the Highway 35 road sign. Anyway, the theory goes that the EDR would send the drivers back to the silencerz hq, since Tesla hadn’t figured out how to remap the exit point yet. Remember, drone cars will always take any additional cars attached to them to the drone hq. Kadeem May have had his EDR removed because Tezla didn’t want to lose another driver to the Silencerz. He said he was trying to get something when the camera feed cut out in the storm realm. And Lani said what she said about Tezla not giving the drivers an EDR because none of the new drivers had one or were issued one previously. Kadeem could have very well been trying to get his EDR to work, but couldn’t. Tezla also would have been using an earlier version of the EDR since it didn’t retrieve the cars, but the one the Silencerz use was developed further after Tezla left by the rest of their scientists. How the drones got Kadeem despite the realm closing could also be the result of the EDR. Perhaps his EDR was unresponsive at first, but then it malfunctioned, sending him to the drones instead.

very late but here’s my theory: Swamp was the very first realm to open after WR. Tezla recruits and sends Banjee into the realm. After a fatal accident at the hands of those mosquitoes he gets stuck in the water. And like Taro if Banjee did have a prototype EDR in his car it was damaged due to the water. Unsure about this because it wasn’t seen until Braking Point and hasn’t been shown to work on water but the current Silencer in the realm (most likely Major Wheeler,) saw Banjee’s car and recognized the decals because of Verts participation in the World Race. Stopped and used the anti gravity device to drive across the water and rescue Banjee. Prioritizing rescuing a driver instead of winning, Major Wheeler used the EDR which was more advanced by the time Tezla used his to escape Hot Wheels City and the drones. Next after losing two more drivers to the same issues, realm obstacles, Tezla installed a more functional prototype of the EDR in Kadeem’s car. Kadeem ended up in the Drones HQ by using the EDR. The reason is, his car was struck by RD-08’s plasma blast. With his car disabled by the blast, it’s energy sent him to the Drones HQ by being the same energy level (or something like that that sends drivers back to their correct HQ). Now as for Dresden and Alec, Tezla removed or never put in the EDR’s out of A. Fear they might be sent to another HQ. B. Them being disabled and not working again. Or C. He just didn’t care enough and wanted to keep working on them.

I think an explanation for Banjee would be that he was working undercover for the Silencerz and had installed an EDR back to the silencerz HQ, thus escaping back to the silencerz when he crashed while leaving Tezla and Lani to assume his death.

Here is my theory about the swamp realm: Tezla’s drivers the Silencerz and the Drones all entered the realm but none of them made it due to the Silencerz not having Banjee Alec and Dan driving for them so they either got lost because Gig said some tracks led to a dead end or crashed due to the swamp beasts or lack of skill the drones didnt make it because the recon drones got destroyed because of the huge mosquitoes and got lost/destroyed and Tezla’s drivers all had EDRs because Kadeem said in the storm realm “Im trying to get the” and it seems like he wanted to say “im trying to get the EDR” but they were stolen/not properly developed so the EDRs led the drivers to the Silencerz HQ and im guessing Banjee Alec and Dan all crashed in the swamp realm because there are no further clues to suggest that a driver had crashed in any other realm. and about Kadeem i think the EDR was faulty/disabled because Kadeem ended up in the drones hands instead of the Silencerz so maybe the EDR sent Kadeem to the Drones HQ im not sure about that but i cant think of another explanation.

From rewatching the Swamp Realm Race, when they enter and start picking which track to use, it cuts to Dr. Tesla, Lonnie, and Gig talking. Gig says “The last time the tracks lead nowhere.” Or something along the lines of that. From hearing this, they had already raced in the Swamp Realm, but the race didn’t finish since they couldn’t fine the right track to use.

Dr. Tezla did steal tech from the silencerz. We saw that even once he put EDRs into the driver's cars it only rescued the drivers, and not the cars. But from the moment the silencerz were shown using EDRs it returned the cars as well. I think the best way to chalk this up is that Tezla was reverse engineering the silencer tech. After all it would be impractical to rip the system's out of multiple cars so he probably just took one and then was working to reverse engineer it.

Another possibility as to why they wouldn’t get out through the portal once they’ve acquired the drivers, could be that the realm hazards were closing in on them and/or blocking the track, so they’d have to use the EDR out of necessity.

So I have a theory about who the silencers are. If you remember from the world race, Tesla was the founder of the scrim Corp. (hope that’s right) so in theory he should have a full team of scientists with him in the acceledrome but the only help he has is lani and gig (and is later revealed that gig was reprogrammed by Tesla for unknown reason) so my theory is that the silencers are the old scrim Corp. this could also be backed by the fact Tesla drives a similar looking car which he explained to his drivers was “stolen from him” likely meaning Tesla was either kicked out because of his obsession with the realms or he left on his own because he was in a lot of danger (the reason he built the acceledrome was to hide from any outside danger, said so himself) this also explains why his old bases are in ruins. They were probably ransacked for his research after Tezla was gone.

The other option can always be that while the Silencerz had enough drivers, like everyone else they were forced off the track after rescuing Banjee. After all, their tech seems to have a lot of counters against machines, but what sort of tech do they have against bio-engineered entities? The bugs would probably be easy to deal with, as the static shock from the EMP would likely disorient them. But the other, massive creatures would likely just throw them off into the distance, or worse slam them into the ground (which as we saw at 3:57 would've been deadly).

My theory is the EDR were already in the cars prior to the events of the movie. At the time whenever anyone pressed it they would end up at the silencers HQ. I think that because Peter Tesla worked for the silencers prior to the events of ignition, and he hadn't recalibrated the EDRs yet

That’s what I always thought, since the drones didn’t finish mostly in the swamp realm, I always thought before Ignition Banjee Was lost in the swamp realm and the Drones didn’t finish, so the realm just closed and waited to be open again in Ignition

I think one option could be their tech was finished or needing more members

Okay so remember when monkey said “it looks good across the water porkchop, the other way was easier” to pork chop? Banjee is known for taking short cuts so maybe he took the “easier” path across the water and died for it.

You want a simple answer that can make sense, the Wheel of Power they have can allow one time to enter a Realm without it needing to be in order but that's it, you can't open any Realm you please after it but the obvious Realms are Swamp for Banjee, Fog for Alec and I have reasons in a Theory he's RD-L1 and Warped feels for Dan Dresden which that Wheel of Power is also not genuine and being powered by alot of energy.

I hate to be blunt, but this could have been solved in 10 seconds by saying "GIG specifically claims a Racing Realm has never opened before AFTER it has been completed", and then playing the clip.

I always felt that Tezla was stealing tech from the Silencerz, despite the fact he claims they’re stealing technology from him. That’s why his EDRs only return the driver, while the Silencerz’s EDR returns the whole car. Tezla’s version is scuffed. That’s how Benji got saved. Maybe when the Swamp Realm opened the first time, there was only one Silencer that went into the portal, and he decided to save Benji rather than complete the race

This is my theory behind why the realm reopened. So for the Ultimate race to be unlocked, all of the Accelechargers had to be possessed and have their power kick start the wheel. But in that case, the chance at one driver or team winning 100% of the realms would seem impossible. Once the Cosmic realm was finished and no one had all of the Accelechargers, the realms and the chargers were forced into reset, meaning that any Accelecharger would disappear and reappear to the ending portal. Other info to add to this is that the drones went into hiding in the Ice realm until humans were more car savvy so there could be a fair race. The Silencers must have been around before the World Race considering that Jack Wheeler was responding to a squadron call on Vert's birthday. The silencers could have been incognito throughout the realms and winning so they could keep the drones from getting them all. This is only supported by the fact that the drones could have easily been snatching them all whilst humans didn't know about the wheel of power. If it wasn't for the drones in WR contradicting the Ice realm hiding, considering they had the RD line of cars for thousands of years, then to just have HW Prototype 12s in WR. The drones were then just fed up with doing everything all over again, they decided to raid tesla's hideout and get them all for themselves. The time frame between the end of the cosmic realm and the ultimate race was so short that the reset did not run through yet, so they had enough time to fuse their powers. Sorry if mine is all over the place, quick spawn of thinking.

I always assumed the realm was opened for the first time and banjee was apart of the silencerz but didn’t have a silencerz vehicle yet. Maybe he entered at the same time as the other drivers but lost control and went off the track early in the race before the drones or the other racers could notice him.

9:09 maybe the last silencer in the realm (assuming the other ones were taken out) had to chose between winning the race or saving the dude trapped, the thing is, theres no markings around the car to indicate someone went there :v my head cannon is that up to tesla calling teku and the MMs everybody else he sent died :v

I always thought as a kid that the storm realm was never completed, that the big monster boy stopped everyone that made it to said big monster boy, And so it closed do to time limit, and was reopened so they could try and collect the accelcharger.

Here's my theory on Banjee's disappearance in the Swamp Realm Tezla sends out calls to Banjee, Dresden, Wood, Kadeem, Vert, Taro, and the Wyldes to race in the Realms against the Drones, but Banjee, Dresden, and Wood are the only three to arrive for the chance to race in the three pre-Ignition realms, maybe the rest of the drivers were unable to be found at the time, and arrived later than they should've. With only three Acceledrome racers in the realms, they are outnumbered by RD-L1 and the Racing Drones in the Fog, Warped, and Monument realms, and Dresden and Wood are lost in either of the three realms, with Banjee being the last driver not be lost in the realms. The Silencerz, looking for the best drivers to compete in the realms and looking for revenge after Tezla stole their tech, Gig, and Nitrium, they sneak into the realms with X-88 drones and rescue Dresden and Wood, later recruiting them to the Silencerz. The Swamp Realm eventually opens, and Banjee furious that his friends are lost goes into the Swamp Realm alone despite Lani's pleads for him to stay and wait for Kadeem, Vert, etc. to arrive. Without any choice, Lani tries to help Banjee somehow win the realm, but the paths she tells him to go down were the worst ones to take. (Why Gig says that the last paths they used lead to nowhere) This, along with Banjee being In his angered state, either loses control of Ballistik or is attacked by a Swamp Realm creature, and crashes into the water. The Drones, also unable to finish the realm due to the insects and beasts, cause the realm to be uncompleted. The Silencerz drones find Banjee unconscious in the swamp water, and pull him out of his car and take him to their HQ, where he would also be recruited. Without any drivers left to race in the realms, Tezla waits impatiently for the rest of the drivers he called to arrive, and eventually, Kadeem, and the rest of the WR drivers he contacted arrive, ready to race in the next realm that opens.

What if the Silencerz' initial strategy was just to try and keep people out of the realm and they only started trying to get accelechargers to prevent others from having them

Maybe by the time they rescued and recruited Banshee there wasn't enough time to win the Acelecharger especially if they were short on drivers at the time and having to deal with the Racing Drones.

actually i have an even deeper reason. the Swamp realm specifically, was a one shot realm. they lost to the drones multiple times (also how gelorum made her big general) and the swamp realm was "buffed" by the accelerons so the drones stopped winning, but it kinda didn't pay off as all drivers lost, most of them were rescued by the silencers. Kadeem was the only tesla driver not on the swamp realm, and he saw nobody come back. Seeing how making the realms too strong for the drones not to finish made no driver finish the realm, the accelerons decided to open the storm realm to test the human drivers instead of instantly reopening the swamp realm, to test if the new drivers where good enough. this probably coincides with Vert's father probably sneaking into Tesla's Acceledrome via entering the portal while invisible by the side of a driver. Maybe he only truly followed them in metro realm, and he got the accelecharger while invisible. But all of that would be explained true or false in the 5th film, as WR was also 5 episodes into one film, acceleracers would be 5 films. We still needed to see Vert's return to the gang, the explanation of what happened from his father, and what happened to tesla and lani.

In my honest opinion there needs to be a back story of the call back of the first wave of drivers Tezla called before the 2nd wave of “world race drivers were called back by gig...which is Teku and Metal Maniacs.

Maybe the silencers didn’t have enough time or didn’t know how to complete the realm maybe they didn’t know the secret to drive in the center of the road and/or maybe they didn’t have nitroxe 2 nolo won by using it at the end

My question is, how did the silencerz even get to banjee? He was in the middle of the water, also why would the silencerz even care about banjee to begin with to warrant saving, the silencerz never once cared about helping the humans once so why would they go out of their way to save banjee? It honestly makes more sense that banjee died there in his car

your theory is ok and all but lani and dr tezla have both said realms never reopen throughout the movies, just because they don't tell them everything doesn't mean that that wasn't a truth that they never seen a realm reopened. they even said it in the third movie where they told kurt supposedly everything.

I thought of one thing... if Banjee was taken off the track by the giant mosquitoes, why did Gelorum call them SOMETHING when the "eye in the sky" was shot down? wasn't it for Racing Drones to know about them on the way? Could it mean... the Swamp Realm hadn't created them before?

I think The Silencerz were waiting to bait Tesla to capture him.

What if the Swamp realm was never opened? What if the Warp realm was a place what was close to the Race end so what if it warps the pilots in different places.

As far as I’m concerned at this point your fan script is the farthest project and most canon thing I can rely on so I’m awaiting episode 3!! 😁😁 read 1 and 2 as soon as they came out

I think it’s pretty simple, Alec Wood, Dan Dresden, and Banjee were recruited by Tezla to race in the Realms, we know the Drones already won in 3 realms. Here’s how I like to think of it, these 3 were recruited and raced the Drones, some realms couldn’t be won by either side, like the Swamp Realm where Banjee was lost, otherwise the Drones won 3 realms with Alec and Dan being lost in Realms no one completed, or the 3 the Drones did win, with Kadeem at least racing in one of these 3 realms at least, only to lose, thus Kadeem was the only driver left and so Tezla contacted the World Racers who’d joined the Teku and Maniacs, thus pulling these 2 teams in. The Silencers I’ll say followed in cloaked, but as Racers were slowly lost they saw talent in them and picked up each driver, as we know the Silencers use an EDR that can save the vehicle too, and I assume any passenger inside, thus the Silencers didn’t need to finish, essentially they sacrificed wine to gain drivers, especially if neither the Drones or Racers finished. My guess is that the Silencers were playing the long game, they eventually noticed how the Teku and Maniacs fought so much, and so used their advanced tech to mess with them at times, but never do anything to endanger the drivers. Thus the Silencers began winning some races, we see this plan pay off when they recovered the Wheel Of Power at the end and managed to get Vert teleported to their base instead, with the Chargers.

Because nobody managed to claim the accelecharger. i mean i couldve answered that at 9 years old when i first saw this scene.

in the intro of the movies, names appear first in the letters of the accelerons(or maybe the racing drones) and then they change to normal letters, with this one could make a kind of translator or not? sorry for my English, i dont know if someone do this before

It’s simple really, bangee and company managed to make it through the first 5 realms (Lightning realm, and the 4 before that, because we see the drones already have 4 accelachargers by the storm realm) and in the swamp realm they got lost and never found the portal. Pork chop didn’t listen to monkey when monkey said to go towards the water, and instead he went towards the forest, a few frames later it shows us bangees car sitting in the water, and to top it off, those giant mosquitos probably killed him and his corpse is rotting away in the cockpit. But at the same time this theory where they never reached the portal wouldn’t make sense because if the realms restarted, why did the drones get another accelacharger from the storm realm. Unless the drones also got lost in the swamp realm (which would make sense as to why they have probes at least towards the reset) and they lost the accelachargers since they brought them into the realm, and simply the accelarons put them back at the end of each portal.

I think any driver who went in to the realms with a car from World Race did not make it out, since the World Race cars that went into the storm realm were Deora II, Slingshot, Crazy 8s and the 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner and only half of Deora II made it out and forced Vert, Kurt and Taro to change cars (although I think Taro got through the storm realm with his Plymouth but decided to change cars as he knew the World Race cars weren't equipped for the realms)

Honest theory was that Tesla was sending the first drivers in using a hologram like during the movies, sadly they didn't make it through whatever realms came around. Tesla likely never told them about other failed drivers as he never did for current surviving racers. BUT this was all before the drones were active. Once Drones were active Tesla made a last ditch effort to keep the Wheel from the Drones which failed. Then that started the film and resulted in Gig reaching out to the possibly more "underground" drivers.

Never thought much about it opening for a secodn time. My strong guess is that there was a random cycle. About the realms opening ofc. Always opening but randomly. Soemhow tezla knew since pretty much the beginning of the realms opening, as much as the drones did. What happened? It was a try and error for all teams (slicencerz, tezla and drones) like, they went in but didn't get to finish it, due to the hour time, or skill. The 'so perfect' drones in swamp realm, you can see some die, and even lose to the skill needed for this realm. So, my theory is: the realms keep opening, and racers kept going in, and not finishing, until they started to finish it, and win skills. By the time tezla called teku and maniac, it was already 'out-of-his-hands' as the drones already owned about 15 to 20 cards. A long time passed by before he decided to trust them

My god I've always tought it were Kahjeens car and the realms shared the same space, with the Storm Realm laying floating over the Swamp Realm

Another theory could be on how the drones got cadeem since the only drone car that came out has clear proof kadeem wasn’t in it when it left and the realm closed after being won. How was kadeem pulled out of a closed won realm

I'm just saying that possibly for the canceled 5th movie, all 3 drivers would be revealed (Banjee, Alec, and Dan). There was also the possibility that there was 2 other World Race drivers that were a part of the Silencerz, since there were at most 6 Silencerz cars in one realm. Also, the 5th movie would have seen 4 new racing realms (Sky, Forest, Sound, & Glass). That's why those realms were only seen in the card game and not on the Fandom Wiki Site. It's because those 4 realms were meant to be in the 5th movie. Also, Vert Wheeler would end up joining the Silencerz team.

I always wondered how did Banjee got lost in the swamp realm

I want to toss an idea, what if they already had people in hot wheel city as early as the beginning if the realms, as a result they’d have hands in both factions so they bid their time since they would always ha s the endgame

My theory has always been nobody beat that shit the first time... So maybe it skipped a realm and it came back to it

little detail that makes me think tezla knew about the swamp realms reopening, it was the only realm if i remember correctly, that he said beforehand what it was. first realm was storm and all that was said was "the racing realm is open" by Gig, and then when the swamp realm opened Tezla said "the swamp realm" as if he knew about it already, and by seeing Banjee's car in there makes me think that Tezla had him go in beforehand, this is the only way it makes sense to me with what was mentioned about no body finishing the realm so it reset, but being the sneaky snake he is, he didnt say anything about it

I believe the Ice realm and the World race ice realm that connects to hot wheels city are the same or at least are in the same realm maybe not the same track. Maybe Golorum went into the world race ice realm to get the wheel of power failed and found the Drones and put her “Clip robot mind” in a racing drone cause she knew a lot about the drones and they captured Hot wheels city and used the wheel of power. Let me know if y’all need anything explained about my theory and I’ll try to come up with what would make sense about two different companies making two different movie franchises based off the same timeline with literally no facts lol

A guess I have is also the EDR wasn't fully as functional as it is now. I mean as much as Tesla was rich to pay 7-8 people 5 million dollars each and build a facility in a mountain with a hologram to hide the entrance, he still would have preferred to keep his cars intact if he could. So if he worked for the silencers wouldn't he have or know how to make the same technology of the EDR. Tesla likely didn't have a equally as powerful DER because of it still being a prototype. Vert Father's group didn't want to lose a man unless they were 100% sure it was safe (being how some members were likely American military). Also if this is a secret military project I feel it be bad to report continuos lost cars. Now using Tesla Robot sidekick (forgot his name) they found out Banjie and the others went to the swamp realm and the group decides it be safe to send a drone in to monitor them. After most of the drone were destroyed Banjie team couldn't finish the race due to crashes or in Banjie case falling off the track into the water causing Vert father's team to go on a rescue mission to save the others not wanting to let any of them be trapped or die. The main reason that could of caused them to not finish the race is because of the time constraint to retrieve all of them. The fastest time we have on a track was Taro who was in a race with no interruptions at 19 minutes and 52 seconds .Banjie team was brought to Vert father's base and told about their relationship with Tesla and from the experience of the world race (and if I'm correct Vert's best friend Alec was also there) they realize it be safer for the truth about the accelerons belong to the goverment rather than whatever Tesla planned to use it for. Vert father group realize the EDR does seem to work and this made them continue on their final preparations to start their missions in the Realms along with there new recruits They also skipped out on the water realm due to not wanting to accidently fry their DER like Taro did. This now makes me wonder what would of happened to Shirako if Testla didn't emp the car of the silencer that went after him. Would he have been kidnapped by the group and would he agree to join or be against it due to loyalty to his gang.

The silencerz were simply recruiting and learning again huh was already playin Tesla from the start sooooooo. They were multitasking!!

I honestly don't think the Silencerz tried to win the Swamp Realm bec they didn't want anyone to find out that they had figured out how to enter the realms. If they won the realm, the realm wouldn't have reopened and it would have made Tazla and other drivers very suspicious.

The accelecharger is still there so it means all the racers that went in that realm never got it so the wheel re opened it since it still has the charger within it

What really happened: Let just say that all the world race drivers enter the Realms by team. Tezla called the Road Beast to enter the realms, so line of GIG would have made sense because if it's just Banjee, then why Tezla wpuld say to split up if ypu cant split 1 driver. After Tezla called them, they split up by Tezla's orders, but it lead to no where, and some of them ended up with dead ends. Banjee took the left side where Porkchop chose the roght because of his fear, later RD-08 uses the Slam Ram to slam Ballistik or grabbed by a mosquito, and Banjee reacted fast that he opened the parachute to land at the water( if he wouldn't use the parachute when Ballistik would be underwater and not half-water). While the others reached the end, they got a surprised that they got captured by the livings vines, and never finished the realm as the drones did, too. Later, they got rescued by the Silencerz, they used the EDR to exit the realms because they were recruiting drivers, and they didnt finish the realms since they cant use the ball thingy because they are organic and if they use the camo skin either way tjey will sense them like Kalus use his senses to fight the traidor.
