Huge credit to Teaching Tech for making the following website which is one of the best guides I have seen to calibrating your 3D printer step by step. This video is part of a series of videos going through each step of that process. Here is the link to the website:

Just be aware that the Gcode generate generates some sketchy homing code at the end of the file. Be sure to check the G28 mode at the end so it doesnt crash into the part.

Is it normal that there's a difference with inner and outer wall?

Okay, yes I see the outer speed is 50% of the inner speed by default :D

You're not making the best of the calibration. You should see a range of differences, picks the sweet spot better ringing around the letters and bulging on the corners. You didn't even checking for bulging. And the best way to check the effects is hold it up to the light and see how it interacts with the light. The original Teching Teach video covers it way better.

Just purchased my first 3D printer (Ender 3 V2) last week and spending my evenings browsing youtube for tips, tricks, learning how it all works etc. Came across your 9 part series on calibration etc. Perfect, just the kind of knowledge I want to have to get started right! Much appreciated.

I am glad you got a 3d printer! I have had one for almost 10 years now and I love it, it is still magical watching it build layer by layer from nothing. The ender 3 v2 is a great printer and there is so much information on RU-vid and reddit you should be able to do well with it. Good luck and happy printing!
