I’ve had one on my Exmark for over 6 years and I love it. The best way to combat the “dust” issue is to by some cheap, thin rubber mat material and cut it to shape and use a few self tappers to secure it to the aluminum. Works perfectly and cost like $15 bucks.
Will that bracket for the bagger fit with the grass flap installed? Or were you talking about a grass flap on a different mower. I'm looking to leave a grass flap installed and use that style bagger. Thanks
It should yes. But have your dealer do it. In my wrigjt we have the bagger and grass flap. But I couldn’t find a video on how to install them properly so they both work. Long story short I had to go to the dealer and they did it
@@roachbrotherslawncare2936 I have a wright stander x now and the deck comes from the factory with the bagger bracket and the grass flap bracket was fairly easy to install. I'm looking at buying the v ride 2 to replace the wright so i was just looking up videos for the same setup. Let me ask you this off topic, what's your opinion on your wright stander vs the scag vride2?
@@Drew8318 I will never buy a scag again. Had too many issues and I’ve never had one issue with any of our wrights. And all our wrights now have over 500 hours and the smaller ones have over 200 zero issues. Going to buy the new LG wright this summer
I have the ballard version of this. The swing gate is very quick, but the nature of how it attatches on the bottom made it unuseable for us. Shame bc its super light. But if you hit uneven ground at a decent speed, the door unlatches and pops open. I mowed half a lawn not realizing it was open once. Never again lol
I just bought one for my V-Ride 2 through my dealer. Like you said I think it’s great for small cleanups or mowings. Heavy leave cleanup is a different story. Good video!
@@TrentonWilliams34250603 this one is a 48 but ask your dealer. Ours had options when it came to that. You can also reach out to grass flap on their website they are good people
