Good video thank you very much for helping us but I'm having an issue with enabling my own paypal each time I click it they say that the option is temporarily unavailable please what can I do to enable it
@@awattokon2458 You will have to apply for another account and click on the business option.. For now I don't think you can upgrade a personal account to business.
@@wanderamartin Yes right now it's not. It was working before they had a problem with PayPal and they said it would be fixed. It's taking too long and I don't even know when they would sort this out. Hopefully soon.
Okay. But has flutterwave ratified their issues with paypal now? Aside using a business account, can one now use the individual account to process this paypal payment? Awaiting feedback..

One of my major problem is that although I activated Mobile Money option, that option doesn't show at all when a customer wants to process payments. AND, in the drop down menu of countries one can choose from to enter their phone number is also not available as well. I don't know if it's with me or what. Meanwhile everything seems to be alright.... I even received a notification that "I am live" - good to go - But....
It used to work well before they started having issues with PayPal. I don't know If it's on PayPal's end or theirs.. But for sometime now, it's not been working great and returns errors.. Last time I contacted them, they said they were working on it and till now, I have heard nothing.. We just have to wait and see if they can make it work again..
@@NetplusTraining Hey, just a quick question. Is it an absolute necessity to provide a Bank Reference Letter for the account activation of payment method? That's what customer care says but...
@@peterkalyabe7553 When they started this, no.. Maybe it's one of the new requirements... If that's required now then I guess you have to provide that..
@@vanessachristopher6418 Goes on and off again.. Once tried it some few weeks and it worked only for it to give errors again.. I haven't tried it since... You can try it once again to see if its working again.. Just create the link and try to make payment to see if it's working...
It should be sent automatically to the available balance field after some days when its available for it to be used... You also need to set up how you want your funds.. Under settings, where it says how to you want your funds, if you select the bank option, you will get the funds sent to your account .. If you choose the wallet option, it will be available in the available balance field for you to withdraw to your bank account. If it's not so for you then you need to contact support.. ...
@@Mangekyo__ I am not really sure if this still works. They had a problem with PayPal one time and they said it was going to be fixed. I don't think its been fixed.
Thanks for this video sir, just 2 questions. What is the conversion rate if I decide to move my dollar balance to a Normal Nigerian Bank Account. The fact it's possible to withdraw to Dorm is already good enough.
Yeah.. The update is that it's not working right now....They still have not rectified the link error problem that it's been returning for some time now.. Hopefully they will soon... The rate is at black market rate if you have a dorm account which right now is about N485 or so..
Thank you for the explanation, but when I try to pay using paypal, It says that " Payment Failed. Try again with PayPal " did you encounter this problem.
No I didn't... Although I think people have been complaining about this the past 2 days.. I will probably contact flutterwave to look into this.. But last time I used, it still worked fine..
@@NetplusTraining Thank you for your respond, yes it was working just fine but in the last 2 days I keep receiving that error message, I hope they'll fix that immediately
I think it was enabled only in Nigeria and South Africa at the beginning and they said they would extend it to other countries. Even right now it's not working well here in Nigeria. I hope they fix it and extend it to your country like they said they would.
Good One Quick question I can see you put price that was above $100 on the product. Currently, Nigerians can't buy anything above $100 because of the dollar limit that was placed on it Will this flutterwave payment gateway bypass that limit? I await your response?
This is meant for international buyers not Nigerian buyers. They buy with their cards via their PayPal account. So the limit doesn't apply here because you are targeting international buyers. If you are targeting Nigerians then give them Naira option.
Did you choose the business account option or the personal account? They have only made it available for business so you will need to verify your business details ..
Okay, thanks, sir. I used the individual option. I don't have any registered business. I do freelance on Fiverr and I need this actually. I wish I can get someone who will collect money and give me the business certificate and TIN to do this.
@@NetplusTraining Thanks for the replies, by the way, otherwise.... Anyways, for me, even the paypal option cannot be activated from my settings. (its greyed). It's 'not available in my country', so the system says (Uganda). But I do have a paypal account that has been in operation for some time now.
I don't understand.. Sent to. Naira account? If you meant receiving it in Naira after you have been paid, yes you can receive it to your Naira bank account..
No.. I don't think it's possible.. This is a rave payment page which leads to PayPal not a direct PayPal integration... So it has to always redirect from rave... But you can design your button to be PayPal button but it will always still lead to rave when clicked on and then to PayPal..
Yes, Few months after they started working with PayPal, it stopped working and they are yet to get things back ro normal. We have to wait according to support.
Update... This is not working anymore for now as it returns error. The lat time I contacted support, they said they were working on it. Once fixed, I will update you guys... Sign up for Flutterwave at bit.ly/3s5i7WY . This is only available for registered business for now.. Don't forget to subscribe and turn on all notifications...
@@agbaraleoso8421 You can use Paystack as they allow you accept payments internationally in any currency and convert it to US or Naira in your account but you must have a registered business... It's the same process as flutterwave..
@@NetplusTraining you are right there is a government back up, how can a scammers/ ponzi scheme business entered a country, registered a business with all the government regulatory bodies, opened an office, buy busses, paid salaries to agents, setup an outlet for qualified agents, embark on charitable services around the country, given an award to organisations, sponsoring people to Nigeria and Ghana match and above all chooses flutterwave as a payment gate way? Thanks for this wonderful video. but to transfer the fund receievd from the payment to your dom account, does flutterwave take any fee for that transferring to my Dom
Yes there is a little charge I think.. It has actually stopped working for the last 3 weeks and they are yet to fix it.. I believe it will be back up soon..
