After mowing the grass, you need Scott’s fertilizer with weed killer. You will never keep up with weeds by pulling them up. Please follow the instructions about watering after fertilizing. Get Scott’s, not the cheap stuff. Juju the yard needs to be watered early morning, not at night. It can get a rot if you water at night. Your lawn will be healthy and green, weed free if you follow these instructions. ❤️ from Houston, Texas ps; you can have my email if you need more tips.

Once you make the changes to your house things will definitely change for the better. It takes time to adjust to a new home especially a new state. Hang in there you two.

It does not matter if you want to live in tx, ca, or wherever …. And its ok to try things out and change your mind as many times as you want. Its really hard to figure out where you want to live for the rest of your life…. Thats a huge decision!! You are blessed to be able to afford it. Thank you for sharing your life with us!!!

OAN, I used to live in Oklahoma & the grass was exactly like TX, so I feel you! Working on the yard together is a good bonding experience too. I lived in Texas in Austin and you gotta find what you do and do it different, bring Cali to Texas and find the places in Texas that make you feel like home. Also try everything different while you’re there!

Adjusting to change can be tough but it’s what you make out of it also. Once you learn more about your city and start to meet new people and trying new things and place you will love it. My daughter moved to Texas and her first year was lonely but now she has met new people and things to do she is having a blast. The two of you will be fine. Trust

Koa is hurting his neck in the back 😭 i recommend getting a 360 carseat... u can have him front facing when he's awake if u want and rear facing when he's sleeping, so he's comfortable. I do this with my daughter, and she's always comfy. Sleeping or awake.

L.A. is a place for kids chasing their dreams, y'all have a family. I know its hard to go from fast paced to slower paced but TX pretty much has all the same things. They have gyns, pilates, and yoga lol. Your in the country so you may have to drive 45 mins to it but you did that to go 5 niles anyway in Cali anyway. Yall arent kids anymore. You have a kid, kids need slower paced so they can grow as k8d and play n a yard. Also, i have a few acres...you dont want to fill it all. Just do a basketball court, pool, and firepit if you want. If you cover all the land you'll depreciate the property. People love the land.

I think you guys are so used to LA life that you guys think you have FOMO. Give it time, you will see that you like where you are. Suburban life will grow on you!

Ngl I was one of the people annoyed with Juju😂 but I appreciate you reading the comments and taking some advice. Moving is hard but Texas especially Dallas is one of the best places you can move. Raising your family in Texas will be a great experience. Keep trying new places get involved in your community. They will keep building things up in your area. You guys are very blessed!

Texas blossoms, bluebonnets season, Texas State Fair is in October, pumpkin patches, it’s so much fun! Y’all should take Koa to Klyde Warren park. There are so many places to explore.

Yeah, people were going off on the other video. Honestly, it’s your lives and you have to live it happily. But it’s a great idea to put your heart into this house and give it your best shot making your lives how you want to make it. Keep positive and present in the moment, that’s the most important part, and see how it goes. Just try not to lust after somewhere else, enjoy what you have right now and what you can make of it 😊

I’ve lived in Chicago(born and raised), Cali (Valencia), and have been living in DFW for 11yrs now…and Texas still isn’t where I call home…when I refer to home I’m talking about Chicago or Valencia. I like Texas but some of these Texans are weird… Be careful you don’t step on any fire ant hills…especially Koa those things bite and it hurts….and I can’t express enough get a generator for your house…Generac is a company to look into for that…we sometimes have rolling black outs in the summer and it sucks.

I’m a silent viewer but I’ve been following you from the beginning. My family and I moved from San Francisco to the east coast and it took us awhile to get used to it. We thought multiple times about moving back but ultimately we got used to it, and I can’t imagine moving back to the bay. We def made our house “our” home. Though we don’t have all the things we would have in the bay, we wouldn’t be able to have our life we have now if we stayed in sf. It took us a good year or 2 to feel like home. Now I look at it as home is wherever my family is-doesn’t matter what state we are in but wherever my husband and family is. It’ll take time for sure. But god has a reason for everything in your life. Your guys are meant to be where your at! Love you guys! ❤️

I feel you guys completely. I’m from ohio, moved to OC. And I recently moved to Phoenix bc I couldn’t afford it no more. And I miss cali so bad that I literally go every month. But with 2 kids it’s hard. But when I’m here I feel like I’m “trapped” and just sit in bed all day bc I’m not use to the desert, or my routine that I use to have bc I feel like a tourist in a state I don’t know. And it’s hard and frustrating. But when I go back to cali to visit for 2-3 weeks, I come back and realize damn. Sometime I need to get away from everything sometimes. 😅 but I’ve been here 3 years already and still not use to it which sucks. But hopefully it will grow on me. Change is hard but as long as you have eachother, you have everything ❤❤❤ wish you guys the best!!! Love you guys

Sometimes that’s all it takes! Exploring your new hometown. When I first moved to the east coast from the west coast. All we did every day for months was experience and see something new. And we still got things to explore after 1.5 years. If you’re home all day you will feel the “loneliness” and the homesickness but when you’re out exploring you don’t have time to think about it. Your building your new life in a new state. Take it day by day.

Well maybe you need to be the change you wish to see and start a basketball playing group in your backyard since you got a court. Make the life you want. Y'all moved for the house right? 💏 New ppl, new life, adapt or die Lol joking love y'all Houses are so much work. 🤣

Moving to Texas is such a BIG ADJUSTMENT, but believe me you all will grow into it. Idk what city you moved too, but when I moved here 2 years ago I was like YUCK, I can’t do this. But I grew into it. I wish you guys the best, you both are amazing & I just adore y’all’s relationship. 😍🥰

Try and be patient. It’s always an adjustment. I’ve lived in NY my whole life and never even moved boroughs but every time we’ve moved it took us MONTHS to feel settled and “at home” again. This recent home were in just started feeling cozy comfy and like home after 2 whole years of living here lol. You guys moved from a whole another state to a more laid back type of state so it will definetly take time. It will take a lot of time and it’s ok, it’s a huge drastic change but once that click happens, it will feel great. You may feel lost right now but everything will fall into place over time.

Look as a military spouse for 22 years and 9 pcs moves. Moving to a new place is always an adjustment. It’s like the beginning it’s new and cool, then you get homesick and want to go back. And eventually it becomes home. Or not, but most of the time it becomes home. But have people come visit often. Find your favorite gas station, favorite restaurant, favorite grocery store. Get your favorite cashier at the store, and find an activity in the community. Meet the neighbors, make some kid friends for Koa.

LA & TEXAS is a huge difference. It definitely will take some adjusting. Texas is known for moving at a slower pace. Especially if you’re not living in a big city. BUT I will say till the day I die…there are very few places that are better to grow up in than Texas!! Born & raised in Texas and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Nothin like Texas pride..i mean..we’re the only state that flies our flag as much if not more than the American flag! Lol Home is where the heart is ♥️(insert Texas Flag) 😊

KOA is the absolute cutest 🤗 IMO he is the most adorable RU-vid baby boy ever 💙 🥰 I enjoy watching him grow. Thank heaven's for little boy's. #BOYMOM 😏💙 Also if you both are doubtful of your whole move to Texas. Just ignore whatever negatively you both may feel. Not all RU-vidr's want the same things in life. They don't all prioritize the same things also. Continue being the genuine people you are. Your content or life choices may not be for everyone but I assure you that you are loved by the many who do enjoy your content. Everything you do in life has a purpose. So sad to see how unsafe Koa is while in the car 😢😢😢😢😢😢 Front facing illegally, he’s supposed to be 2 years old before sitting forward in a car seat. The jacket is way too puffy so the straps can’t fit correctly. Lastly all the boxes: diapers and shoes, etc, are so dangerous being by him in the back. God forbid you end up rolling the truck a couple times those are deadly projectiles. DO BETTER.

I just moved to Texas, like 8mos ago ft worth, 20 mins from dwn twn Dallas. Have lived in other states before, loved Florida. But Texas......uhhhh......im trying and its not working to well. People keep saying it will grow on me but no... i'm just not feeling it . To visit yes, I love it, have fam here, love the people, but to live I don't think I made the right move. I also work at Nordstroms at Northpark which is a cool mall that everyone goes to, If y’all need new clothes or we also sell essentials I can let y’all know when it drops! Other than that, you guys will adjust to Texas, it ain’t so bad here :)

Trust me i get it. I moved to Canada from the Caribbean , away from family, friends and relationship and it was the hardest. You guys will always have each other. Keep reminding yourselves of why you moved away in the first place.

The economy is falling fast, stay put. Having a home with land in a safe area will be more valuable than you think! Take that space to grow some things as well. Give it time, it takes a while to adjust to a new place and build your community. I'm old enough to be your mama 😂😂😂 so I have some life experience on ya. Make it yours, do all you can to build a life there and if you still don't like it, reevaluate then. ❤ You two are the sweetest, praying for you!

I feel like you guys maybe should do some road trips to the different major cities in Texas bc they are all a different feel (I’ve lived in Texas my whole life). Maybe get a feel for the different cities and what they have to offer, just in case y’all like that more. I’ve moved to different states on my own and I understand that kinda “buyer’s remorse” feeling. Even when you like it, it’s really hard to establish a new place as home unless you’re surrounded with a lot of family/friends. It’s a slow build
