Accessibility Requirements in Public Areas of Building Facilities 

This webinar in DLZ’s ADA compliance series discussed the accessibility requirements at public areas of buildings, specifically government facilities and those areas that are typically open to the public, including parking, exterior and interior accessible routes, public entrances, signage, stairs, elevators, lobbies and service counters, conference and public meeting rooms, drinking fountains, restrooms, and courtrooms.
Watch to gain a better understanding of the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design requirements and see examples of some of the most common issues observed by DLZ on various projects. While the focus is on government facilities, the requirements, in most instances, are the same for Title III entities (private businesses).
