Aan de A7 tussen Groningen en Winschoten ligt Zuidbroek. Daar vind je het Van der Valk Hotel Groningen-Zuidbroek. Het hotel is verdeeld in restaurant/receptie en kamers gedeelte. Om bij de kamers te komen moeten de gasten naar buiten. Voor de gasten die kunnen lopen is dat een kleine oversteek via het restaurant. Voor gasten die in een rolstoel zitten moeten via de receptie een redelijke steile helling. Die ook nog schuin afloopt naar links of rechts.
Het personeel in erg vriendelijk. Vooral in het restaurant, waar je overigens ook heerlijk kan eten. In de ochtend is er een goed ontbijtbuffet.
De invalide kamer is ruim opgezet en in de badkamer vind alle aanpassingen die een rolstoelgebruiker eventueel nodig heeft.

Zuidbroek is located on the A7 between Groningen and Winschoten. There you will find the Van der Valk Hotel Groningen-Zuidbroek. The hotel is divided into a restaurant/reception and rooms section. To get to the rooms, guests have to go outside. For guests who can walk, there is a small crossing thru the restaurant. For guests in a wheelchair, a fairly steep slope must be reached via the reception. Which also slopes to the left or right.
The staff is very friendly. Especially in the restaurant, where you can also enjoy a delicious meal. In the morning there is a good breakfast buffet.
The disabled room is spacious and in the bathroom you will find all the adjustments that a wheelchair user may need.
