Chickens don’t feel like regular animals, remember they are designed to get bitten in the wild and few moments later they leave like nothing happened, or it will be dinner for whatever animal. Stop worrying about something you know nothing about. The city kills these birds anyway so why act like they rescue anything? You never see them rescue homeless people, why? Aren’t humans worth more?
This is part of the mexican culture, it's what we do in Mexico. But unfortunately it's illegal here in the US, my Dad was a fighting Rooster breeder back in the 80s and 90s

I can see why it can be very addictive and passionate to be in the game. My respect goes to the great man who fought for freedom and made fighting birds. It's in our history. This is the worst noise in the world. I don’t mind one or two but hundreds, it is a mind melting noise. Always trading with Mexico, no tax money, but it’s protected by police often and anyone within a mile and a half can’t not find peace for the racket. In the morning with that many birds it would be impossible to identify individual calls. It’s just one loud torture for both the birds and the neighbors.

tbh at this point I think most everybody against cock fighting are ignorant and thinks the roosters are being forced and abused like a dog to fight. What they want is the rooster to consent to the fight or something just like an mma fighter would and everything would be okay with them after that I bet lol
