This is my own arrangement of Amazing Grace for accordion. I have tried to imitate the sound of bagpipes. Instagram: accordionlucy Support me on BuyMeACoffee: www.buymeacoff...
when I was born in 1943 my older brother Bobby he was 10 years old and mom and dad started him on the accordion for the next 10 years I listen to my brother BOB practice always reading Sheet music! Then he married and moved away and I took up the accordion! Now 81 years old I still play by ear! Never could or wanted to play with someone else had scribbled on paper! Good job Lucy! You go girl! Stay safe!💕 Love Bumpa!💕🙏
Absolutely beautiful. I lost my father recently and came across his old accordion from the 1950s. I don’t remember him playing it much but I do remember him playing Amazing Grace. I just had to hear it again so thank you.
Gives me chills. Ephesians 2:8-9. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. [10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Very gently played, letting the notes resonate and fade, no rush, so nice. It is hard to control the bellows when holding bass notes, especially the chords, and you finished perfectly with closed bellows. :)
Super,😊 was du alles machst echt toll. Mit der Dame das auch noch selber machen wau ihr seid super. Danke für das tolle Lied. Wünsche euch ein schönen Abend und später eine gute Nacht schlaf gut alle.😊😊 Liebe Grüße Emmi
Great job. I love that jentle sound. I practice akkordeon myself! I love the sound of akkordeon! I don't know how many times I have watched this video already! God bless you a lot!💖💖
Hello Lucy! I listen to You with great pleasure. This song is the best in your repertoire because of her spiritual sense - salvation of man. Greetings from Poland!
@@accordionlucy "Church" music is what I enjoy the most. I am constantly searching RU-vid, especially accordion players, to see how they arrange and play hymns, and other styles of Christian music. I really appreciated the calmness, and meditative way you arranged Amazing Grace! Best wishes!
Very well done, perhaps you must try to play on the Roland FR-8X V accordion, than you can make the real sound of bagpipes. I also play mostly on this V-accordion and it is amazing what the possibilities are. Greetings from Holland
Thank you James! I did not write the arrangement down anywhere. If it helps, the melody is the same repetition 3 times throughout. The bass alternates between G, C, D. The last time through I added the major chords.
