In this video I rebuild an accordion bellows frame, after a previous owner had very nearly wrecked it by gluing and silicone sealing bellows frame to the treble side of the accordion...... a mammoth job!!!

Hello! I would start with a low value accordion - maybe a welt meister or hohner -and I would start with a small 24 or 32 bass- they are smaller and have less reeds Don't start on a high value accordion. - its too risky !!

Hello It could be a number of things Maybe to do with the bass reed blocks- there could be a problem air leaking from where the reed block is attached to the bass side of the accordion Or maybe it could be to do with the bass reed valves - they could be too heavy and therefore would make it difficult to sound the bass reeds , it maybe be leaking of air from bellows or around the bellows gasket It really needs to be looked at to determine where the issue is 😊
I had in bits today valved all look fine I brushed up the felt the reed blocks sit on and cleaned the bass of the blocks as well to see what would happen, it seems to have fixed the problem all the reeds seam to be fine that I can see I do have a new set Just incase Thank you
