The groundbreaking for the $71,699,000 Accotink Pump Station Rehabilitation Project was held on Sept. 26, 2024. It marked Virginia's first local government Project Labor Agreement (PLA). At completion, the capacity of the pump station will increase from 37 million to 45 million gallons daily. Accotink Pump Station is the largest pump station in the county.
