You might be the only person I've seen who knows how the hell the Vital Wavetable editor works 😭 I've never thought of Square*4 as phase shifting until now, which honestly makes sense when I think about it. Sick video!
cool one! although i still prefer malstrom and reason rack in general because it for some reason (pun intended) makes me much more creative with the sound design
This is cool, kind of makes me think about how the uniqueness of each synth used to make sq4 will be based on the artifacts at the zero point crossings.
What the hell am I doing wrong. I tried multiple times drawing how you did, and my waveform ended up looking like a reverse cymbal transition if I had to describe it. But seriously thank you for including it in the download
Id say the wavetable isnt the most important thing to making the sound, but reason’s skream body and the chorus flanger are pretty essential in my opinion Also cool asf video, im def gonna try this out
@@udayy4448 it's not malware. the file i uploaded MUST have the extension .vitaltable the website i used to upload it has just one pop-up that you can avoid if you use a decent ad blocker. aside that, it's legit.
Tbf doing this in Serums wavetable editor is probably harder. But also these synths produce such similar types of sound that that the choice of one over the other is personal preference at this point. I like Vital's oscillator more but I like Serums Distortion, HyperDimesnion and resampling
@@illford nah it's literally impossible to manually make it in serum's wavetable editor w/o having to detune resample to osc a, hence why this tutorial exists for vital just to show how powerful it can be
Are we at a point, now, where we are fetishizing wavetables? We've stopped with 'plug-in of the week' and regressed with 'modern talking' era of music production.
