The Accurite Wireless Digital Freezer and Refrigerator Thermometer model 00986MA1. I don't have too much confidence in the refrigerator's ability to maintain the temperatures I want, hopefully this device can confirm or deny my suspicions.

My grandma has a Whirpool fridge too and it's older, from 2005. They got it from Sears so it's badged as a Kenmore. It took me awhile to realize Kenmore was just a Sears brand, rather than a manufacturer.

The majority of the names appearing on stuff within the last few decades are little more than brands and have little to do with the actual manufacturing.

Both my my refrigerators use r12 :) both are Frigidaire. They both work pretty well.

@@JordanU one of them is 75 years old, the other is about 50. Also have an r12 freezer branded Citation. Not sure how old it is but I'd imagine from the 1970s as well. The freezer almost never runs and stays perfectly at 0 degrees F. I hope you can find a refrigerator that you can enjoy and depend on.

Yeah here the recommend is like -1 °c and freezer part -24°c.... Without watching the entire video I was pretty sure it was a video related being too cold
