What’s disturbing is her trying to turn herself into a victim when her child murdered an innocent person unprovoked. You can love your child and still accept the consequences for their actions.
Driving on expired tags? Pay the ticket. Concealed weapon? Show the permit. Illegal search and seizure? Go to court. I can’t imagine the justification for murder.

You don't know that. Until the video comes out, we don't know what exactly happened, do we? If those boys were being abused by these officers, then would you agree the officers at the time the abuse started would no longer be acting as servants of the peace but as criminals in uniform? That they weren't operating in their required law-abiding roles but were instead contravening their oath of office to protect & serve, & that the accused had the right to defend themselves (or would you rather see them killed by another nervous, trigger-happy, & unscrupulous cop?) Not saying that happened, but that's the point: we don't know!

Obviously, mom hadn’t “seen her son” enough BEFORE the shooting. Had she place the same amount of ENERGY and PASSION in raising him to be a respectful and productive young man, perhaps he could have made better choices, and the officer would be alive today.
They have lengthy criminal records going back to their juvenile years. A mom that actually cared about her "damn" kids would've intervened long ago and scared them straight out of that kind of lifestyle. She was cool with it to the bitter end.

Speaking as someone who has been stopped by traffic cops on a few occasions (during which I was always polite, respectful, have my license and insurance ready and the window down, before they reach my door, and keep my hands on the wheel at all times unless told to hand them something), they have a tough job to do, and there _isn't_ and _never can be,_ "another side" to shooting a cop beween the eyes during a traffic stop.
If she was a racist that's the perfect reason for the cop. You may have never been pulled over and searched for no reason but some get tired of it and can snap

Because I'm accountable and knew exactly what I was doing that caused them to pull me over. Sometimes they'd let me go , but other times I've gotten citations and court appearances. There is no other side. The same officer they killed saved a black woman and her 1 month old baby the month before.

I'll half agree with you. Let me say this first I'm not defending the killers but there is a possibility that the mother has nothing to do with it. Not saying she's entirely free of blame, but if she was unavailable most of the time working I believe she can be excused to some extent. The problem this situation (absent parent) is that the parents have to choose paying bills or spending time with their kids. I'm interested in seeing what the mother hopes to accomplish by visiting her son. That would be an interesting conversation/confrontation.

I'm all on board with parents being criminally prosecuted for the actions of their teenage spawn, and be held accountable for crime by their adult offspring. Society is supposed to change to accommodate the lack lack of moral upbringing of irresponsible children, children bearing children. In blatant cases such as this, hold the parent under the same charges. It's about time to hold parents accountable for their ignorance and lack of oversite.

Yeah, but think about it. Cops do shady stuff all the time. It's possible the cop had it coming. She probably tried to do something she wasn't supposed to and got her karma for all we know. Let this be a deep lesson of observation to all you young parents out there, that when you flat out refuse to set boundaries for, " my baby", " my son", "my daughter" "my" whatever, this many times is the fallout. Those young men simply didn't have any regard for someone else, other than themselves ! Unless mom was there, how would she know what the "other side" of the story was ?!
