Accused Idaho Student Murderer Arrested and Charged - What's Next? 

I watched this case everyday from the beginning. The chief did an amazing job with the media. Im so happy to hear his voice cracking while announcing the offender was in custody. I know how hard society hammered him about not releasing information. He did it for the results he just achieved. Thanks to all Leo's involved in this case. God bless the victims and family's. If he is proven guilty please lock him in a room with the victims fathers !

The alleged studied criminology & has a masters degree in it. Was about to start a PhD… it is sooooo important the prosecution & police have all the evidence laid out & get this case tight!! The alleged will do everything to get around the conviction. RIP to four innocent souls 🙏

I still don’t think he did this alone and very likely wasn’t his first time.. hopefully they look into any unsolved cases around any areas he’s lived or visited

This is a big step forward to give a modicum of what many refer to as 'closure' but the big question remains ; WHY? -This is such a senseless crime.

So many internet detectives accused and ruined people lives over this. Hopefully they will learn to not accuse people of murder and Destroy them and their families through fruitless accusations

There is never closure, even with the arrest. What we need to do is anticipate and plan action against this type of crime.

This is so good. All of these youtuber interviews with retired this and retired that and they asked them if the MPD was deliberately misleading the public and the murderer, and they all said no they weren't and wouldn't risk it. Yet, two days ago not only did the press lament the over twenty thousand Hyundi elantras LE had to wade thru, and there were over ninety just with parking permits on the Moscow campus alone. So everyone assumed they were looking at the campus environment for the killer. And then today, without realizing he was tipping off the methodology, Chief Fry referred to the "past couple of days" as all this was coming together. In writing this is difficult. To pull it off in the real world is just effing brilliant. Great misdirection. You rock Chief Fry!!

There is nothing on this earth worse than a parent losing their child. The manner in which their lives were taken was atrocious. I don’t get warm fuzzies looking at him for sure. But I still have the feeling that someone else is involved. They must have something solid to have arrested him. But innocent until proven guilty. It does make me feel hopeful to now see that a lot has been going on behind the scenes.

“Has anyone else been arrested?” Very concerning statement.. if he had help I hope they can find his accomplice(s) soon. I’m very proud of this police department for tracking this suspect down and staying focused despite any unwarranted criticism, weird viral hypotheses, and lust for more from hoards of random people on the internet… many of them pretending to be genuinely concerned for the families… but really just love watching this stuff for morbid entertainment, or creating narratives for clout. I could never be a police officers in these times. I hope the investigators can get the families all the answers they deserve and I hope to GOD the public doesn’t start HOUNDING them for that information like what we’ve been seeing regarding the Delphi case.

I'm still wondering why the dog never barked and why no one on the first floor heard anything. This guy Kohberger appears to be a super genius here. He can enter a dark house at 3am and he's never supposedly been in and not wake anyone up. And on top of not waking them up he can take a knife and kill four people just like that. He knifes each one in just the right way to get them on the first stab. No one ever makes a sound! Very unusual and kind of unlikely since these people were natural born noise makers. Police were called to their house repeatedly for noise. And the dog was absolutely mum. He was a model dog, never made a sound. Kaylee put up a struggle they say and her wounds were worse than her room mates. Strange because she never made a sound. If someone is putting up a fight or struggling with a perp who's stabbing you, wouldn't you at least scream??? And if he slit her throat and couldn't speak, then why was she still struggling? And why was he still stabbing her?? Wait until the trial and we see what the cops have. It may not be what we think, it may not be the slam dunk. I'm not trying to say he didn't do it, I don't know who did it. I only hope they got the right guy and the correct story here. And cops still have to get that weapon. What I'm saying is the mayor of Moscow and the President of that University wanted this case to go away as fast as possible and tied up in a pretty bow. The cops had their orders. Kaylee's Dad was dissing the heck out of these cops. Now all of a sudden they are Columbo and Jessica Fletcher rolled into one.

He's behind bars with no chance of leaving other than getting shipped over to Idaho, so it doesn't really matter how long it takes for him to get extradited back over. The guy is locked up and can't go anywhere. When he ends up back in Idaho to face the death penalty after his conviction, he'll still be locked up for years before anything can happen.

Sorry to double post but the evidence better leave no questions. Unfortunately the media attention and pressure on the police has already established reasonable doubt. He isn’t just going in with the presumption of innocence but the idea that perhaps the cops needed someone on whom to pin the crime.

I daho is a death penalty state but before all that I really hope his fellow inmates give him a nice warm welcome.......cause even the worst of the worst frown greatly on people who prey on defenseless children. And he will be treated accordingly. They may want to think confinement from other prisoners or he may not make it to even be tried in a court. Bummer.
