The song was on the Back in Black album released in the summer of 1980. Remember, MTV didn't launch until August of 1981. Therefore, videos were not a priority. I saw them in concert in 1982, 1986, 1991, and 2001. Thanks for the reaction.
Reminds me of my girlfriend in high school ' 83 - '85. SHE ROCKED!! ( and me ). Saw fly on the wall and who made who as well. WE'RE BOTH LUCKY and FORTUNATE!!!!
I have attended so many concerts and AC/DC was my #1 since the 80s....until Slipknot earned my #1 spot in 2019! 😂 I had to have myself and my kid in the pit for Knotfest 2021. No shame in my old game! 🤘🏽🖤🤘🏻 😭🔥
Another great ACDC song thanks. If you want to do another ACDC Reaction - how about "It's a Long Way to the Top" one of their earlier hits with their first lead singer the late Bon Scott.
You’ve done corporate AC/DC (obviously awesome) be good to watch them live on the way up - some class live stuff from 1977/7/8 out there. Try Rock goes to college or Glasgow live. Raw af but the energy is jaw dropping
A perfect Rock n Roll song for sure. The "Back In Black" album saved Rock music in the 1980's....80',rock headed doomsdayed for synthesizers, syrupy lyrics and electronic drums...AC/DC shattered it with this album. God bless you guys. Cheers
Well, keep in mind that MTV didn't start up until the next year after this was released. Before that, we didn't have anywhere to really watch music videos. So it didn't make sense for bands to even make them until MTV really took off.
Killer song off their Back In Black album. I swear out of my 350 music CD's I had back in the day, this one more than any other boosted my productivity at my job by a huge amount ! The entire CD cooks! Thanks for your reaction.
Guys....River Plate....any and every song from that show. You've seen the crowd. Insane all the way through...they are crazy for rock n roll on the South American continent. 🙂
The album Back In Black is the 2nd best selling album of all-time! It's a must-own, along with Highway to Hell and High Voltage. Every song on those albums is music magic.
This was from the Back In Black album, their 1980 comeback with Brian after the death of Bon Scott. I think Angus must have invented "head banging" rock, because he's been doing that since 1975.
Most people don’t get the lyrical brilliance of the opening line, in terms of innuendo… “… she kept the motor clean” is a quality reference to the subject having a 🪒’d 🐈
I remember The day this was released & played @ school (8th grade) to start the lunch break & then they played Back in Black to end the lunch break . We all went & brought the album after school . #1 Rock Album of all time Thanks Acca Dacca !
The best part of your reactions is the “ah-ha!” Moment in your eyes when you realize that you actually have already heard the song but did not realize it was AC/DC. This band has made its mark in sooooo many places it’s awesome when you see someone realizing just how big their music really is. But, you still see people saying they have seen the t-shirt yet never heard the music… yeah, just press play and watch the light come on. 😅
There was a separate video that aired on MTV in which Brian was walking through town collecting supplies on his way to meet the girl and then entering her house seeing her wild and ready.
I absolutely love AC/DC. I got hooked on a show Because of this song. Show was called supernatural. Season 4 episode 1. They played it while showing what happened from season 3. I watched the whole series after that moment.
You have to listen to the studio versions of the song😊 especially For the first Time hearing the studio version of ACDC music is powerful Rock Glory you can't listen to a song that was put out forty years ago live on stage buy them when they're in their sixties and seventies you got to listen to the studio album ACDC is the greatest rock band on Earth but you can't tell that all the time by listening to a video of a live show
🔥My #1 song of all time even though I am more of a Metalhead. This song has fired me up for over 40 years. 😂 It was released my junior year of high school. 🤘🏻🖤🤘🏽
Video wasn't a thing in 1980. Saw them perform this at the Montreal Forum in 1980. Angus never stopped moving - I mean never stopped. I was only 23 at the time, but I had never seen such non-stop energy. I was Brian Johnson's first tour with the group - Hell's Bells. Also first time I had seen wireless pickups for the guitars. Great concert - great band.
Video was starting to be big but ACDC were in their own groove. They were non conformist and it's funny now but trendsetters every boy from twelve with hair like that and pair of dbs. I swear they created the bogan
The reason this song is such a massive crossover success is because women love it as well. And that is because the lyric is 'YOU Shook ME All Night Long'. If it had been 'I Shook YOU All Night Long' it would not have resonates with women as much.
I lived that song her name was Nicole Hawkins in Seymour Tennessee you know there’s a lot of things in life I wish I would’ve never done but a shit happens
