I agree... There is something almost fragile about it. I just started playing the game; it feels different given the almost the light flutes that cue in and out. Truly the mark of a special theme.

Elegy of the Captured is the masterpiece Its almost... Refreshing and cleansing, but also incredibly tragic to the point it makes my eyes tear up more, than from "The bitter taste of truth", another soul wrenching masterpiece Really makes you want to defend your client till the end, despite the betrayal from the last game
SPOILER WARNING Funny fact: Trials and Tribulations is the only game that Maya was in in which she wasn't tried for murder. But in every single game she has been in, she's been accused of a murder and been inside of a detention center. In the first game her sister, who was her only close family for nearly all of her life died and everybody thought she did it. Second game, she was accused of murder, and one of the actual culprits was her aunt, later she was kidnapped. In the third game her village's treasure is stolen, she is almost killed, she sees her mother be murdered by her sister's ex-boyfriend right before her eyes and then later learns her mother's true identity, along with the fact that her aunt used her cousin to devise a plan to kill her. In Spirit of Justice she is accused of murder again, then kidnapped again, then sees someone get shot and killed right in front of her and she couldn't even do anything about it, then listens to his dying words helplessly. This girl needs a fucking break.

My favorite is somehow detention center song (in 2001). I think it just have some specific aura and climate for this location (of course next songs in the series can be muuuuch sadness, but still I like this one)

So, the original detention theme is named after that plastic guy who has no name, no face and barely 2 lines of dialogue throughout the games. And yet he has a what is essentially his character theme. Nice. Also, my headcanon is that his name is Bailey Clinkson.

Elegy of the Captured and Elgy of Tragiccomedy are used so little in their games actually all of the games minus great ace attorney and spirit of justice have very few jail scenes past AA1
