The way I heard it went was this: Capcom: Let's sell a spin-off of an already somewhat obscure game and not advertise it at all! Capcom: What the heck this game didn't sell. Well, I guess America doesn't want the sequel.
Osprey Talon That's only because PLvAA's a crossover so having it localised would appeal to Layton and Ace Attorney fans. Investigations 2 only appeals to Ace Attorney fans sadly
@Paizuri Easy solution. The localised version can be made for the new console. They did it for the localisations of, oh I dunno, THE ORIGINAL EFFING PW TRINITY, so doing it again isn't the most unreasonable ask...

Agreed, i wish there was another one, but nothing could top this, just a nother ace investigations as good as this. Duel destinies and spirit of justice aren't the best, i liked sprites more than models

This game is much better than Dual Destinies in my opinion. I was blown away by the last case, what a crazy plot twist. We got our deadliest assassin, flirtuous troublemaker, and merciless whip lady back on the show. Justine Courtney and Raymond Shields are my newest favorite characters.
@BuzzGaming57 Especially when one of the themes is literally "[Character name] - He who masterminds the game" I mean it's not in this video but like come on
"This game is much better than Dual Destinies in my opinion" That's assuming DD had any grounds to stand atop of, the only reedeming quality of that game is Blackquill and the soundtrack. (And salvaging the mess that AJ created at least) AAI2 is unironically the best game of the entire series period, that can't be refuted.
I'm not done with it yet, but Debeste, Courtney and Uncle Ray are already in my 15 favorite characters in the entire franchise, Courtney being my favorite rival out of all of them
AAI2: makes me cry on case *3* My brain: how am I supposed to handle two more of these T_T (for anyone that doesn't know, the third case of each game is notorious for being extremely mediocre)
Thank you so much for sharing this. I really love this game, it became my favourire AA ever. And I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the team of fan who worked on the patch. Really, Thank you so much or I would have miss this masterpiece.
A very good game in the AA series. Character developlent is awesome, awesome villains and very suitable OST . Man, if only we have game where AAI and original AA came together that would be awesome.
I truly love this game with all of my heart. Case 4 & 5 were the best cases ever. And it was the last game that featured gumshoe. I want an aai 3, and another game w gumshoe even if he's like 50. I also really like edgeworth after this, and Ray is one of my favorite characters now.
@@luisguilherme2964 If the leaks are accurate, then they should receive official translations sometime this year (www.reddit.com/r/AceAttorney/comments/jvixrj/capcom_leak_megathread_2_temporarily/). Scarlet Study has also done an unofficial translation of DGS 1. But I definitely recommend playing the two games together. They're two parts of a single cohesive story.
***** I don't know if you can patch it or not, sorry. But I think you'll be fine. I'm not very good at reading Traditional Chinese either, but they're very similar and should be recognisable, I think. :)
the fact that the neither theme of the literal orchestra conductor character get an orchestral version is a tragedy. wheres first class farewell you cowards.
What a shame this game didn't come into the West, it's probably the best episode of this saga ! Thanks to english translation, I played it and it was awesome. Furthermore, the OST is wonderful.
I played the first investigation and I was a lite boring and stretchy. But then I gived investigation 2 a try and omg was it amazing. Big improvement from the first one.
Yes, and the localization team has been consistently ensure that the localization is high quality and as professional seeming as possible. I personally don't mind waiting if it means I get to play the game rather than just watching someone else play it.
Why oh why isn't this game localized?! I played the Fan Translation and it was fantastic! But, my favourite last case is and always will be Dual Destinies. But! The songs, this series wins. Hands down! My favourite character theme is Hakari Mikagami's Goddess of Law. Favourite character, Mikagami and Ichiyanagi
I recommend playing the fan-translated rom of the game. There's a fully localized version made by fans on the internet, and i mean FULLY localized. Every text in the game, from dialogue to sprites, are all localized. You won't be disappointed :)
Aemort Still waiting for the next game; and no, I'm not talking about the upcoming Dai Gyakuten spinoff, I'm mainly directing my excitement for AA6 (what I presume to be Dual Destinies' chronological sequel). Anyway, given that Dual Destinies was directed by Takeshi Yamazaki (the guy who directed the two Ace Attorney Investigations spinoff games), I wonder which obligatory mystery super spy we'll be facing in AA6. (Spoilers incoming, you've been warned). We've defeated Calisto Yew/Mata Hari and the Phantom (aka Chameleon from Spider Man), so who's next?
