I used to have a love hate relationship with this mission, but now I've played X2 Joint Assault and huge ass airborne fortresses aren't a problem anymore. They put one in the SECOND mission, and had you fight two at once in mission 16 I think.
@@CallsignAegis The Arsenal Bird has more weapons, has 80 drones it can deploy at any time, and has a bubble shield that negates weaponry To be fair though, the Arkbird seems to be a lot faster (than the Arsenal Bird itself, not the drones) and has an onboard nuclear warhead But what really pushes the Arsenal Bird over the edge is that there's two of them, with the second one even more formidable than the first
@@cxwx4025 The arkbird clearly has more range than the arsenal bird meaning the deployment of drones are useless. But yeah i agree the arsenal bird is fucking goated because of its bubble shields
@@potato88872 Yes it was. It was like various elements of past ACs were just hastily slapped together. NOT the makings of a good ace combat story. Couldnt even finish it cause it was so terrible. Im also salty that they had the audacity to not give us a single word or line from President Harling. And they fvcking killed him off. Likely so they wouldnt have to do so.
@@davecrupel2817I can understand where you're coming from, but I disagree on saying it's a bad game. I personally enjoyed it my first few times through, although my biggest gripe is that it's WAY too easy. For example, Ace difficulty in Zero amps up damage taken tenfold, makes enemy AI much nimbler, and even adds more enemies to all the missions as well as spawning in ace pilots that don't appear in lower difficulties. Ace difficulty in 7 literally just makes the enemy AI more evasive. That's it. No damage modification, no new enemies, just AI tuning. That's a load of BS.
