@@comebackkid1216 Is not Mobius. Is Mobius 1 There is a huge difference. Mobius 1 is not the name of a pilot, but the callsign of a PLANE. The 1st plane of Mobius squadron, nothing else. What it means? Simple: there could be SEVERAL Mobius 1, not just the one who fought in the Continental war. At the opposite, there is only ONE Trigger, ONE Blaze, and so on: these are tactical identification of the PILOT, not of the PLANE. So, is not so strange to see again a Mobius 1 right before Lighthouse war... but we are not sure that is the same pilot that fought in the Continental war (even if it's quite likely).
@@BigOuterHeaven Same here. I've done it with both, the Su-57 and the X-02. I've also gotten S rank with the Darkstar and the 5th gen fighter in the TGM dlc
Can we just take a moment to appreciate that voice acting for the dear captain though. I never knew being a nuclear level murderer could be so... _Elegant_
Wait. So you tell me...those shell is still going? Even tho its miss oured that mean its still heading part of osea? So....even tho its miss 1 million citizen of oured then there is still 1 million citizen of osea?

Trigger: "Hi big portable Stonehenge submergible rail cannon, I present you my two little portable pulse Excalibur pods, do you want try which is better between you and them?"
21:49 fun fact: this actually happened in real life. On D-Day, the USS _Texas_ was tasked with bombarding enemy positions, but eventually ran out of ammo. By the time it resupplied, the fighting had moved beyond its gun range. To compensate, the _Texas_ got so close to the shore that it nearly beached itself, then flooded all its starboard blister tanks to make the ship list (lean) to the right. The extra elevation allowed the guns to reach farther inland and continued their original task.
Alex and David North: A long, poetic speech praising Trigger as the guiding light that shines through the darkness cast by people like Torres. (The arrows at the end even come together to form the shape of the space elevator.) Wiseman: "Yeah, savin' Oured from another group of madmen is good an' all...but ya next mission's in 32 hours."
Massive respect for anyone who can pull off an S ranking on this mission, regardless of difficulty. Even with the SU-57, I can't even get past a C ranking on *EASY.*
I did it on hard, with the top gun su57, the cruise missile is pretty good for this mission, the only struggle was the air targets sometimes being annoying
SU-57 is one of the harder aircraft for S-ranking this, PLSL works well against aircraft so it will get you through the first mission phase quicker, and will score you more points against whenever Alicorn dives, but the easiest way to score S-rank is using either UGB (SU-47, YF-23) or LACM (Rafale M, Gripen E). You're stuck fighting aircraft with standard missles only, but you save even more time on the Alicorn.
@@tanmaynegi3169 Yeah, it's a whole gang of misfits fighting for survival. Shame the focus is on the Spare part of the squadron rather than the chemistry of it
I wouldn't mind having more DLC missions. It was quite a good mission, with new mechanics and it was a good challenge to tackle the Alicorn. Torres was a decent character for being in three missions alone, overall Im happy. Project Aces, keep the good work, and go eat a burger with fork and knife! :D

@@SoarinYoshi64 Honestly , this mission as hard as it gets on the Alicorn part , it was awesome noneless. I play it like 3 times in a row recently just to listen to this track as well.
Best way to neutralise that piece of shit VLS attack is to FAEB the shit out of it if you have the Falken (its range and damage is fucking retarded). 2 to 4 bombs in the on the aft hull should destroy all of them except the railguns (they retract and are immune to damage). If you're lucky enough - you'll deal with the aft CIWS as well.
@@twinblade02 100% agree. but I got an A rank no fucking idea why other than my teammates are useless and i basically have to try to do everything. I had alot of success with the SU-57's lasers but it's fuckin' useless for the most part against the alicorn. there is so much risk flying straight at it from any angle while also dealing with the fucking drones. the FAEB also got me 6 drone kills instantly because they came out right when it exploded. best special weapon in the game.
Just finished this mission today and I have to say I'm really glad they released these SP missions, and that I decided to do it after finishing the base missions. As much as I enjoy AC7 main campaign, its final mission kinda felt anticlimactic... After the epic fight against the Arsenal Bird, the duel with Hugin & Munin was rather bland and emotionless (well they are drones, after all). It just didn't have that usual 'Ace Combat final mission' taste to it. But Alicorn and Captain Torres... Now *that's* how you end an Ace Combat game.
Ace Combat 7 story peaked for me during your fight with Mihaly. I think its also why overall, AC:0 felt the best story-wise. In the end, its not the giant ships or AI drones that do it for me, but the Aces and their stories.
I do like the ending dialogue for the last mission since it was more about Humanity and you know Ai and shit getting wild these days. We need that as for the enemy well it's an ai who cares anyway until remembering if the player isn't there the world will be doomed against ai
Bro this story is just so good. Although in the beginning I didn’t like the fact that they used fictional countries but ngl never thought id love it this much
This is the proof that there is greater potential for this game. Can you imagine this mission in VR mode ? Flying above the Alicorn and seing is salve missile behing you... It could be MARVELOUS
TLS/EML/PLSL Reticle Mod by Cherry's Delight: www.nexusmods.com/acecombat7skiesunknown/mods/328 And yeah, I'm thinking this is one for PLSL, the mission definitely calls for a dual-purpose SPW.
The Hero Of Comberth Harbor @ 21:21 21:48 Torres: All slow ahead, flood the aft trim tanks. CDO: But sir the boat will sink aft first. Torres: And that will serve to give me the chance to showcase my unerring marksmanship skills!!! Here heh heh!
With the final cutscene, it's best to say that Trigger will end up like his rival Mihaly, a man who trains rookies and forges them into fearsome aces, just like how Mihaly trained Yellow 13. Either that, or Trigger will end up like Blaze, an excellent squadron leader (For the Europeans: Roll credits. -SlyCooperFan1), easily capable of leading a group of aces to victory.

I am really good at Ace combat 7 skies unknown. But this mission took me 3 hours to complete. So for anyone who is playing this mission. For the first time my advice take your time .
My only problem with the three DLC mission is limited weapons / plane choice. ( To achieve S rank) Also guided penetration bomb are also quite useless through out the whole game
I should of found this video sooner,I went in with a few jets but I managed to use HCAA's against the drones and guns but when it came to the big cahoona Alicorn it's self I managed to angel some missle shots in the core. This was a tough mission on hard mode for me.I will try to get an S rank tomorrow.Good job on your S rank man :)
0:29 Torres knew he was going to be sent into Farbanti to die. So he chose a death that would immortalize his beliefs that every soldier is expendable but ends the war
I can't help but notice after playing and watching this mission a few times, when you knock the barrel off target and North says "the shell will miss" well, where did it end up? Wish it included a voice line from Long Caster something like "Shell trajectory confirmed off target, shell will land in open water. Units are en rout to impact area to confirm shell destruction and verify radiation levels." Since radiation measurements were mentioned in the debrief after downing the Arkbird in AC5 this wouldn't be out of nowhere. Unless the shell really did hit something and that's the premise for the next DLC or AC8? But hey, that's just a theory, *A Game Theory!*
If they use similar safeties to real world systems, the shell will know it went off target and fail to detonate. At that point, its nothing more than a 600mm hunk of metal moving at hypersonic velocity. I still wouldn't want it to land on me, though...
@@DonGEX Its littelary almost impossbile hiting at Sand Island considering Sand Islandat front of Osea while Oured back of Osea. So it could hit at Ocean or somewhere
So did they just completely forgot about the plot thread with the traitor lieutenant and the shady brigadier general who claims to not know anything and who exactly were the two bats?
404cp I thought the who living hero thing was the end of that storyline, the general wanted to kill trigger, because as it was said in the game, once a war ends a hero is a risk factor and there is no need for living heroes, only dead ones. The bats being Osean mercs making perfect sense to work this job.
Some officers of the Osean army wanted to inside job Trigger, either for "killing Harling" (cause we don't know what really happened until October 1st during operation Gorgon) or the whole "heros are bad for us" thing featured in these DLC missions, where "The hero of Comberth Harbor" went crazy and wanted to kill everything, so they wanted to prevent something like that would happen to Trigger... Curious, cause the aces of Razgriz were the heroes of the circum-pacific war, yet they're still alive (or at least Nagase is)... OMG this makes me think about a lot of conspiracy theories!
21:45 there was an instance of the Texas doing something similar although she flooded her aft rooms to get the range she needed Note: ships can flood rooms that way if a shell hits one side of the ship instead of a ship constantly leaning to one side they can just flood the room on the opposite side to counteract this I think ships have redundant rooms just for flooding tho I could be wrong
@@DefinitelyNotGayAF yes. Back in the battle of Normandy, almost all battleships were too far from the beaches to avoid the Nazi artillery. Unfortunately, this also meant that their cannons couldn't reach the beach as well. The USS Texas realized this when the Amphibious Assault forces had radioed in that they had no fire support from the Navy. To remedy this, the crew willingly flooded their ship's rear aft rooms to get enough elevation to reach the beach. The crew of the USS Texas were thus rewarded the 5x Battle Star.
I completed this mission yesterday and I can officially confirm that this mission was at least 100x more tense and difficult than any of the base game missions. Like, that final Arsenal Bird battle has nothing on the Alicorn. I thought that Pipeline Destruction was the most difficult mission but now I think this just blew it out of the water. Especially the part where you’re given a whopping 10 seconds to fly through a wall of shields to shoot at the core of the Alicorn’s main nuke. That being said, it was actually really fun though.
What I wonder is if the insubordination is acceptable if your CO is a complete psychopath. I wonder if the submarine crew could have just said, 'No. We won't fire the cannon.', when it became clear Torres was a complete nutcase who was no longer fighting a righteous war, and who just wanted to kill people.
I think the way the developers handle characters like Torres and Pixy is a bit funny. They all have these plans that are just extreme versions of moral dilemmas. Torres’s plan was just the trolley problem with slightly higher stakes if you really think about it, where Torres wants to pull the lever. but what’s funny is that the developers explanation on why he wants to do this isn’t because he wants to save 10 million people, but rather because he’s crazy and wants to personally murder those 1 million. The developers just said ‘fuck social commentary’, and made him a crazy murderer, depriving him of any form of moral highground. That is fucking baller in my opinion.
Btw, make sure you guys buy the Ace Combat OST Cds. They're coming out on December and for the first time selling international as well. DLC and Multiplayer music included.
I think the Alicorn is about roughly the size as both the Japanese super battleships Yamato and Musashi and the same size as the Imperial Super Star Destroyer Executor in Star Wars
If they make another DLC for AC7, I think this is a prime opportunity to introduce the CFA-44 to AC7, both as a playable aircraft, and as a boss battle.
It would also be interesting to see what happened to the CFA-44 development after the Emmeria-Estovokia War. For its pilot in a boss battle in AC7 DLC, I'm thinking along the lines of mercenaries, and considering Erusea is in anarchy and the whole Usean continent (as well as most of Strangereal) is now in the dark and in chaos, this would be a prime time for PMC's to thrive.
@@johnnyboythepilot4098 I had a long theory that we could've gotten the Nosferatu in DLC6. That one of the twins would've survived the anchorhead fight and crashed in the ocean where the Alicorn would've picked them up. And that the Alicorn would've had a Nosferatu in its hangers. Why you ask? Because Alicorn was made by Yuktobania and just like their real life counterparts, Yuktobania and Estovakia have connections.
if you ask me, building these massive super weapon platforms is a massive waste. Arkbird, Solg, Sinfaxi etc..., resource would be better spent developing COFFIN and ZOE... it just give me an idea. what do you think of the idea of COFFIN 2.0? COFFIN 2.0 would not only have a direct neural feed to the pilot but it would also included a super computer that will quickly calculate battle data then it would feed the possible outcomes directly to the pilot. add in ZOE and you would have an air force that will become more stronger the more they do battle. just thinking a hole swarm of Mihaly flying around give me the chills. not just Mihaly but Blaze, Phoenix, Mobius 1, Garuda 1, Cipher a whole swarm of them? now that i think about it there is commonalty between all of the main characters of Ace Combat and that is when they die there consensus is sent backwards in time and the most terrifying thing them is not there skills but the fact that they can learn from there deaths. is Ace Combat just one big simulator conducted by ZOE? naa am just overthinking this.
Imagine instead: A squad of Arsenal Birds, serving as a base for your idea. PICTURE IT! No really, just imagine a swarm of ZOE powered, Trigger and friends data based, ADFx11 Ravens starting up on you from 3 arsenal birds. There would be nothing to stop them. Unless you literally nuke EVERYTHING from Orbit, the master over those would remain global overlord for eternity.
@@justascarecrow6988 it would be like Camilla aka butterfly master. maybe that would be the story of future Ace Combat games. ZOE become self-aware and the boss battles you would have to kill fast outer wise the more time you spent fighting it the difficulty of it increases and the closer it is on trying to beat you.
Who would win? A titanic-sized nuke-powered submarine with perfect AA defense forces, jammers and one "mommy of the railguns", which can destroy an Osean capital, when submarine placed in Usea, or… *one modern russian PLSL-armoured boi*
emmanuel bagas Magnetic Anomaly Detector. A typical piece of anti-submarine warfare equipment that detects the magnetic signature of a submarine's hull underwater. Once they ping a sub with that, patrol aircraft and surface vessels with ASW equipment can go in and nail the thing.
