You know, I think the FALKEN might just be one of the creepiest looking planes ever. Just... Those cameras/eyes. That mouth-like housing for the TLS. It's freaky as all hell.
@@drumrollplease631 The Falken isn't a UAV. It was one of the aircraft piloted by ZOE, but so were the F-14, F/A-18, YF-23, and F-15S/MTD. What makes the Falken special is the COFFIN system, which is a bunch of cameras and an interior video screen instead of a cockpit, along with the TLS housing thingy.
A bunch of freaky eye-shaped cameras and a reaper call sign just makes this protagonist doubly creepy. And a laser makes for a perfect scythe for a fighter.
Fun fact: Hermann Göring, commander of the German Luftwaffe, once asked Adolf Galland, one of the Luftwaffe best fighter pilots and a brilliant commander, what would he think of a command to kill bailed out enemy pilots. Galland responded he would consider that murder and would disobey such order. Göring responded: "' That is just the reply I had expected from you, Galland." Sadly, there were such occasions in the field. During the Battle of Britain, German aviators were considered prisoners of war immediately after they bailed out since they were bailing either over Britain or close to British soil, so an absolute majority of them were captured. But if British pilot bailed out, he landed on his home soil and could be delivered back to his unit in just a few hours. That's why some German pilots considered British pilots combatants (and thus fair game) even after they bailed out. Hugh Dowding, commander of the British Fighter Command reportedly loathed such practice but perceived it as in accordance with the laws of war.
@@blackrose1293 Bruh...this game server has been shut down and discontinued long time ago. If you want to know regardless, the butterfly master machine was also a UAV and it was controlled from far away. How far ? Literally above the orbit. There some sort of satellite floating near orbit and that where the real butterfly master is actually located. The pilot is a young girl working along with an AI. This game was never finished so we wouldn't know anything else. Not even the fate of the Reaper with a Ribbon.
+Leoh Sarduy .......While I do enjoy the NFS M3 GTR in your profile, I think the term pay to win is a little over exaggeration. Many very powerful planes in the game are very affordable even for FTP (for the most part) players like myself.
+Andrew Rogers Yeah it's my favorite car, I love it. Anyways, yeah grinding for credits isn't that difficult and it's a component in almost every game. What I'm talking about is the sortie fuel issue, it's undeniable that players that buy sortie fuel will score higher in tournaments and receive better rewards unlike players who don't and can only play for 2 hours or so. Also, there's the fact that you have pay a huge amount more credits than you earn and sortie fuel to play campaign, only so that you buy the unlimited campaign pack. This game utilizes the most petty money scheme I've ever seen, it's worse than GTA. Still, nonetheless, the gameplay is really good, nothing feels better than the trill of blowing up a T-50 and flying past the explosion in cockpit mode.
ya I remember that mission very well poor Kestrel she got a front row seat to her sisters demise if kestrel in AC5 was sentient and alive she would wail and cry uncontrollably because she lost both her sisters... yeah sorry my imagination always pops up sometimes :3
Back when the TLS was still useful, now adays because they made it's hitbox smaller, darn thing is real hard to hit with, at well, I just use my Raven's UAVs :3
I mean, the Raven is basically a pocket arsenal bird. It can pack a continuous laser in its TLS like the AB did in mission 19, it can bring plenty of AAMs to the fight, just as the AB did, and it can deploy drones from under the wings, same as the AB.
The ADF-01 FALKEN is still a manned aircraft. Its lack of a transparent canopy is due to it having a COFFIN system that ridicules the need for one. The plane did, however, inspire the creation of drones in later games.
ZOE FALKEN was a UCAV. The COFFIN system simply replaces the glass canopy with digital screens and a 3D HUD system but otherwise needs a pilot to operate.
+theacecombatmaster Grim Reaper and Mobius 1 are two different characters. There's an ace combat wiki you can google if you want more lore information.
+theacecombatmaster There are a lot of similarities between the two, such as their starting craft, nicknames, etc... But Infinity takes place in a real world setting whereas AC: 04 takes place in Strangereal.
Infinity was basically a huge reference to 4 with a few references to the other Ace Combats mixed in. Like Operation Bunker Shot, Round Table, and the satellite cannon shown at the end of mission 8 being part of the "Shattered Skies Project" which is the name of AC 04.
most of these people have never played ace combat before and can't even pilot right . yet they pay for fuel and call themselves aces . before you call me a noob : GAMES PLAYED : Ac4 Ac0 Ac5 Ac3 beat every single one of them on hard/ace with s/a ranks .
