Ace steals it AGAIN!! 4:00 Blowhard Critic: "I was a member of the KISS Army when I was 12, man, I know what it's about." ACE: "WHY were you a member of the KISS Army?" Blowhard Critic: "Because I was 12 years old, now it's 14 years later." ACE: "You didn't know any better! hahahaha" When you have a sense of humor about yourself, you're untouchable. Ace is most definitely untouchable. \m/
If they were living in shacks it's because they chose to go that route. If they quit writing music and retired from performing; that's on them, not Ace nor any other artist that CHOSE to clean themselves up and continue to follow their #1 passion, which was MUSIC.🙂
"ELVIS PRESLEY"- smashed all the boundaries and was a kind thoughtful person. Yes all the boundaries- you think of them and ELVIS did it. And yes I know he had is issues. Regarding "ACE" you gotta love him, hes just a happy go lucky guy that will also make mistakes like "ELVIS" and all of us!!! MUSIC BELONGS TO ALL OF US- ITS THE ONLY THING THAT IS UNIVERSAL. RIP:BILL BLACK & SCOTTY MOORE!!!
Slacker4LiFe247 But you notice that there was a small boo and he said," hey It's a joke, a joke." And they got the Hell over it and moved the f* ck on!
@@barbaravance6774 I remember seeing this show and never liked Ace because he wasent jokin when he said it, and Cleary he needed to wear make up with that mug,so who dosent photograph as well?I like old Kiss but Ace is full of shit, good guitarist tho
@@robertrobinsonblakktarsemi2938 , what do you mean he wasn't kidding? He jokes about everything. He tells the guy he was a member of the Kiss army when he was 12 because he didn't know any better.
@above-♠-gave great comment when he says, "& whos fault is that!" to that man who seems to be complaining about something that no one needs to answer or need an urgent solution for--or maybe trying to make it look like bandmembers fault instead of what he said--ITS A GOOD THING THAT BANDMEMBERS LIKE♠SPEAK UP FOR THEMSELVES IN SHOWS LIKE THIS ONE TO SHOW THE PUBLIC WHO'S RIGHT & WHO'S WRONG, OR ELSE THOSE CRITICS PEOPLE CAN DO MAJOR DAMAGE TO BANDS & THEIR IMAGE AS HEROS .
Those 2 critics were dead on. That cheesy chick called Vixon? Her lil run? , Like 99.9% of those cheesy 80s hair metal bands, were DONE the moment MTV played "Smells Like Teen Spirit. "
Its true that record companies are a business! They are not philanthropists! If you sell records you will make it no matter what colour or gender you are!
That was bullshit. Those blues players living in shacks have only themselves to blame for being poor. The liberals and their "America is racist" narrative is complete bullshit. It's all about choices now, institutional racism is dead. There are rich blacks and poor whites... Everybody has only themselves to blame if they are poor. Fuk the liberals , they make everything about race and it's because THEY are the racists
@@phillynott2459 and you made it about race. he was speaking facts... the originators of the blue and rock were “black”(israelites). i mean how else was he gonna classify them?? he’s stating a fact. you made it about race then mentioned liberals. shows you are playing that political game. maybe if you unplug your head out of your ass then you can realize how the world works
this is what 85-89? the Racism is hilarious...'the blacks are living in shacks'...'those people', especially Morton at the beginning with 'the BLACKS!' but the best part is the Cigarettes
Absolutely no focused theme or debate just a bunch of ads clowns yelling ate one another over whatever falls put of Morts mouth.. its like a bunch of drunks after hours ..
Critics are funny... Rolling Stone *hated* every single Zeppelin album. It's like watching the idiot sports commentators before games predict all the outcomes, and then are amazed at how wrong they were.
@@landofthelivingskies3318 It didn't help when they were purposefully spotlighting the tired power balladeers instead of the groundbreaking thrash metal and international metal acts that were fighting tooth and nail to get decent airplay. Grunge didn't kill hair metal, hair metal killed metal.
Who in the fuck are these critics to say who can and cant play rock n roll all they do is write articles in half-assed mags at least these folks are trying and are living it while these critics sit on their asses.
Queen Vixen & C.S.F.H. made female metal cool in the New York club circuit way b4 coming on the show here in '87. This guys who said they couldn't play needs to grow up and show a little respect, dude.
Partially. Rock 'n' roll evolved from a synthesis of rhythm & blues (black music) and country music (white music). For sure, though, it was a Southern phenomenon -- black and white -- in its beginnings. Check out the list of rock 'n' roll pioneers: Elvis Presley (Mississippi/Tennessee), Little Richard (Georgia), Buddy Holly (Texas), Chuck Berry (Missouri), Jerry Lee Lewis (Louisiana), Fats Domino (Louisiana), Everly Brothers (Kentucky)...
I love the big dude with glasses who brought up Public Enemy and how without blues, they’re would be no rock-n-roll. At this time, Public Enemy was out-selling everyone and MTV wouldn’t touch them because they were so out of touch until Raps.
Sad passed away of lung cancer Roberts real name was Sean his father was a singer famous and his mom a actress Barbra Bennett and sadly she committed sucide at I think in her 50s anynote, he lived right next to the Kennedy's he was far from raised in a poor family at near end of his life he sadly did a crazy skit marked his head with Swartz signals said he had been attacked and had been caught lying apparently he drew them on his forward backwards from looking in the mirror it was sad truly he was loosing everything I remember his last claim to fame a lung cancer commercial to help put an end to smoking sadly he had one lung removed and put up a fight to live sadly he lost his battle however, he made his mark for being the first host of some critical aka trash shows then came Jerry, Jerry, I myself feel that Geraldo was the first for trashy shows but I don't know I think Robert Downey had them beat. These are the people of my era growing up now days I find music isn't even music any longer we will never have the days of waking up on a Saturday morning to watch Dick Clark or Soul Train or radio jocks such as on Sundays with the top 40s hit shows the great Casey times change just as it had done with my grandparents, my mom & dad and now I'm the senior talking bout the good old days the circle of life continues so kids eat your Wheaties graduate and become the best you can be to this great nation we are so fortunate to live in God Bless America ❤
Heavy Metal derives from European classical music. That's why white folks like Heavy Metal. As for blues music , that is the black version of country music. All music has evolved , deal with it.
Jondubb that’s true but heavy metal branched off in the UK which is a lily white country. That’s probably why young whites in the U.S gravitated toward it but not young blacks.
"Heavy Metal" was happening at the same time on both sides of the ocean. It's splitting hairs when anyone accurately tries to trace it. Same with punk. It happened at the same exact same time in both lands.
I miss when people could say something horribly offensive and everyone just laughed at themselves and others having their balls busted. Racism and sexism is bullshit, but if we all take a turn at taking shots at each other and laugh instead of getting butt hurt, then nobody gets hurt, it's fair because we're all fair game and nobody has to walk on eggshells. We all fit in some stereotype somewhere so when they attack you everyone laughs and then it's your turn at them, and again, everyone laughs like good sports having fun being juvenile and belligerent. PC killed society's confidence and we all are "the others" to someone else. Lets throw down the gauntlets and laugh not get mad. If they got you with a zinger, then make your comeback better, but don't forget we're all humans and it's just a friendly joke. It's taking things seriously and being mad that cause harm, not the initial comment. Hell I'm dirt broke and I joke about my shortcomings myself. If we all could go back when it was fun to be "different" not something that's "off limits" of humor (like your differences is a disability or anything else too sad to make fun of - Now That'll lower confidence in that state of thinking).
+Justin DeRoche They're just square assholes that shit on heavy metal. In most records by bands like Iron Maiden, Bathory, and Candlemass, the blues is damn near gone. It's more classical.
Dennis L Those jokes were commonplace then. It didn't mean anything. Everyone told jokes like that, not just Ace. You would've had to have come from the 1950s-1970s era to understand that, because we lived in it every day.
Ace is a racist gene and Paul both stated it multiple times in there autobiographies. Paul even said there's people who collect Nazi memorabilia and ww2 stuff and aren't racist or anything their just collectors but that was not the case for ace. Plus on top of that black people did start rock n roll beginning with the blues. And ace does use the four cords the black man came up with lol.
