This is the first time I'm trying Go PlayAlong 4 as the tab player, so far liking the greater amount of control over the visualisation (spacing etc.) so hopefully it looks better to you too!

Great job! Love playing this. Simple but not really. Legend has it Paul Carrack wrote this about their bass player at the time. Apparently the bassist was being 'courted' by another band. Thanks for sharing

Lol, considering this song was written about the bass player stepping out on the band and looking to join another band, you would think the bass player (Terry “Tex” Comer) would have put more of an effort into this bass track! Still I love this song!

yeah not the most challenging or exciting bassline for sure, but it's super solid and supportive and fits right in :) maybe did the band and the song the best favour he could overall haha

Yeah you’re right, it’s easy enough to play a simple version that fits, but trying to catch all of the small variations on the track can be tricky!
