Ace of Base have most of their roots in Västergötland, as far as I know. They look nordic but also so special that they must be related with Olof Skötkonung/Treasureking and his Obotritic princesses which he had nine children with. One, Ingegerd/Iryna married Jaroslav the Wise and her daughter married the King of France, Henri Capet. So A very distant relation with Capet...?
