Ace of Base was a Swedish pop group, originally consisting of Ulf Ekberg and three siblings: Jonas Berggren, Linn Berggren and Jenny Berggren. The group released four studio albums between 1992 and 2002, which sold more than 30 million copies worldwide, making it the third-most successful Swedish band of all time, after ABBA and Roxette.

1994. My classmate gave me a green cassette. I read: "Ace of Base". I don't know why, but i instantly thought, that it's gonna be smth special. And I was goddamn right). For 30 years, every time I hear the first notes of these hits, I get into the groove and forget all my problems. Thank you, Ace of Base! From Russia with Love!!!♥️

I gotta be honest...if we ever need an example to show what it means to have 'alluring eyes', all you need to do have a picture of Linn. I loved this band back in the day, had many great songs. Unfortunately, Linn choosing to step back was a very tough hurdle to overcome, even though Jenny was also great, and they had many great songs after the fact. It was just never the same without her.

So much great, iconic music was written and published back then, as was bullshit, generic, silly music during that time. Just like in any other decade, the ratio of good to bad music has always been the same.
