Ok so I got this album on cassette for my 6th birthday (born in 88) and played the entire album over and over daily. Everyone knows the popular songs but I haven't heard this song in 24 years and I swear on everything I just got goosebumps when it came on. It really hit a nerve just now. Crazy how things from our childhood can sneak up on us and open up a whole shit ton of emotions.

I had this cassette since 1995, there were a few fave musical groups from my past that I somewhat abandoned and had to rediscover in adulthood (SWV, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony etc)... but Ace of Base were integral in broadening my tastes beyond RnB and rap and because of that unique position they've always been a consistent part of my musical rolodex.

I remember going to a Nightclub in Oslo back in the day; l think it was Centrum Scene or the Roxy; l can't remember; it was SO LONG ago... my friend was DJing...The album had just Hit...l asked him to play it when the club was jumping; HE DID; and the people Freaked !!! lnterneters, it's fine listening, but to be in a club, Sweating, moving and sharing the LOVE to this tune with a Hot chick is something else! Ace of Base seems to be superband from Sweden, like Abba and Roxette. This song is really very beautiful, I like girl's vocal in beginning. The 90's will never die! Lithuania :)

Первый раз услышал песни Ace of Base когда служил в армии в 93 году, у старослужащих у кого то на магнитофоне играла эта группа. Мне так понравилось, что после армии сразу купил кассету в киоске звукозаписи, слушал и наслаждался 🙂 Кстати моей маме очень понравилась одна песня , если найду её у вас на канале , я её обозначу. This was an absolute masterpiece! I was a kid on the dance floor, 90's were full of good bands and songs, but WoF was something special! Before Malin met the shit of this world her voice was different... such a wise woman "I wanted to sing, I never wanted to be a singer".

A unique combination of reggae with pop music. This musical "fusion", with beautiful arrangements and great Linn vocals, can listen forever. Around the same time, with the advent of Eurodance, the musical era of simplicity, lightness, melody ended for me. I really love the 80s, but these four are forever settled in my memory. Thanks you!
