Never underestimate Oda's character design . Teach may look or act cartoonish but he too is a rising star just like Luffy but in his own way . A great hint for you is , everytime in One Piece if Teach is a topic or if he is on screen , keep a close eye on his conversations and also his looks . By the way you think Dragon looks ugly ?! I don't think I have ever heard that one . Usually reactors say how Dragon doesn't look like Luffy or Garp at all but you went and said he looks ugly ! 🤣🤣[I am not hating btw just surprised] .

Blackbeard doesn't look strong and he does have cartoonish behavior but don't forget Luffy's design and behavior. Teach was created as an opposite to the main character. It was shown pretty well when they first met. We still don't know the full potential of Blackbeard so let's see what's Oda cooking! 😋

Gen's stitches are from when Arlong first showed up and took Nami he tried to stop them but one of his men Kurobi sliced him up really badly, and like Blackbeard said his power can draw in a devil fruit users physical body so even if a Logia type turned into an element he could still suck them up so even if Ace turned into fire he could still get him.

Dadan... you'll find out. But not yet. As for relationships, umm... none within the crew, but there are people who crush on them. Im ok at the journey's end if any pair off but not during. The "D" thing: it gets explain but its vague, even people reading rhe manga don't really know either. Its important either way.

Its funny that you underestimated blackbeard based on his seemingly goofy behavior and appearance, when thats what Luffy's opponents do to him all the time. Despite how it may seem blackbeard is a powerhouse who's just as smart as he is strong. You'll learn more in due time but never underestimate what he's capable of

Nah, there's no romance. There may be hints or just teases (or simping) but I think it would detract to the overall goal of the series if it would focus on romance. That's mostly for shojo (for young girls) not shonen (for young boys) 'genre' as said by Oda. Though there are established relationships or established marriages present. Wholesome established relationships and lots of found family too.
