The thing I like the most about my K75 is actually the "low" mode. On low it's rated at 150 lumens, 400 meters of throw and 27 hours of battery life! Shine it at the ground and 150 lumens is perfect for walking without blinding everyone around, it has enough spill that I can still see where I'm going and 400 meters of throw is sufficient most of the time.

i find it fun to see how my addictions and "toys" wind up aligning to what my fathers was (just different technologies) for instance his major thing was cb's and car powered spot lights. Mine are concert loudness/quality speakers and high lumen flashlights. among others. I'm sure im not the only one who noticed this.

Yeah but the tint of the BLF GT makes it so much easier to see, at least in the video. You get so much backscatter and everything looks equally as blue with the other lights. Also capturing that thunderstorm was absolutely gorgeous

The K75 and MF04S appear to have equally impressive spill performance. The MF04S has a much bigger spot but only slightly less throw. The MF04S would definitely be my choice considering that it is $100 less expensive.

@@asilaydying1984 Well, I guess the same could be said for a laser pointer. Clearly the MF04S has a much bigger spot. Despite the big difference in rated Cd, the impression from the video at 6:45 is that there isn't a huge difference in throw. Perhaps it is more noticeable in real life. Personally, I'm willing to trade off a little throw for the much bigger spot because it makes it easier to locate things. I'm trying to decide between an BLF GT70 and the AstroLux MF04S. Would love to see Matt do a comparison between the two. Price and performance seem to be very close!

K Danagger I have had all three sold the mf04s and blfgt and kept the k75 . But if your are only looking at mf04s and blfgt I would get mf04s , it’s lighter weight and like you said larger hotspot

Matt I beg to differ on your pick for best Mini thrower, I think the Catapult V6 is better than the Lumatop GT Mini, If you throw an Orbitron 26650/5700 miliamp in the V6 it will smack down some of the bigger throwers with ease. I know you are not really a Thrunite guy, But I would really like to see you do a vid o n the V6.

At half the price of the V6 and less than the GT mini, although the ft03 is larger, it does throw farther and should be considered as well (sst40 longer, 50.2 brighter)

just ordered a flashlight that is zoomable with 1 xhp90 emitter for under $30 from aliexpress. Not a short light as uses two batteries but seems like a lot of bang for the buck. My new glovebox light. Hope the laser flashlights show up on there cheap... but have doubts .

Nice flishlight. I have a MF 3200 flishlight. It's blinding on high or med when u Pont at objects close to u. I think the Monster Flishlight 4800 would be a perfect buy. It's on sale for 200.00. My 3200 will do all I need. It lights up fouther than I can see.

The new Thrunite TN42 V2 has a sbt90 but still cannot out throw the K75. Although the new TN42 uses 4 21700s and has built in recharge capability. But still don’t think that’s enough for me to get it. I will stick with my beautiful K75

how long can it work at maximum? i know it last 80 seconds before drop, but if you stop it right after, wait a few minutes and light it up at maximum then repeat how many times X 80 seconds can you squeeze? another question: after those first 80 seconds at what output, and for how many minutes will last? that hour and 45 minutes? i intend to buy it, but if it can reach at least 1kilometer for 1h45minutes, i wont buy it. thank you for your answer!

Need purchasing advice. Want to buy a rechargeable lithium ion led flashlight, zoomable so I can have a spotlight or floodlight, as powerful as possible but still small enough to have in a pocket or clip _comfortably_ on your belt (I've seen the soda can one that's about as big as I'd want to go), and most of all it has to last more than an hour at a high lumin level. I've had flashlights that say "XXXX lumins" but only last for 10 minutes or so before stepping down automatically, or it'll advertise peek brightness of "5000 lumin (high/turbo) for 2 hours" but only be that bright for 10 minutes before slowly and noticably lowering down for the remainder of the time. I'd be willing to buy a 90,000 lumin flashlight if it can handle being a SOLID 9000 lumin for an ENTIRE 2-3 hours or more. Also I'd prefer to spend $150-$200 but willing to go as high as $300 if it's absolutely worth it. I've done some light searching but unfortunately I'm placing my faith in the manufacturers word, and that's not worth much. So what would you recommend?

They are so many makes and models out there im lost on which to buy i like the acebeam l30 and the new mag charger i would have got the led lenser x21r but its the wrong voltage and i cant find the correct voltage. I have got the acebeam l30 on my christmas list🙂 and when i pass my test i will get a mag charger to keep in my car

I just purchased a k75. I am using hi capacity 3.7v 18650’s. The problem is i cant get Turbo mode to work in normal mode. It flashes once very bright then goes out. However, the turbo mode works fine in eco mode. What do u feel is going on here. I am so disappointed right now.

Matt Smith love the K75 but head is huge anything smaller but same throw distance and lumens?

I don't know anything about flashlights (good/bad) but I liked the W30 because it looked cool but as far as super throwers are concerned....... Which one would you recommend??? You know I can't buy every light I like, so I need something one for all kind of thrower!!!

Certainly Acebeam K70 is a bright and long throw light. However, there nothing brighter and longer throw than God's light.

I have a Blfgt70 and I’ve bought new battery cells and cell carriers along with a new LED for it and I can seem to get it to output all the way. It turns on and ramps up . But doesn’t come up past what appears to be 200 lumens ... like I said turns on and displays proper voltage... help
