Thanks brother. I really was excited to get my hands on this one. Gotta say it was a lot of fun. Really needs a set of bindings to try it out in the dirt, but I was pretty happy out on the trails all day. 🤙🏻🛹
I finally got to ride one last weekend and wow. I see y everyone loves it. It’s an animal. I watched the nyx run with some really $$$$boards. It’s right there hangin with em. great video🤙🤙❤️❤️
🤙🏼⚡ *That model name is murder* 😂⚡ Nice clean lookin eMTB. Great to have an "off-the-shelf" option like this. I don't like bindings so it's nice to see it bein ridden around easily without them. 🤙🏼 I'd probably prefer smaller wheels though, maybe 5inch but don't know if that works on this, clearance seems ok for smaller wheels. LOL at "The Beatles" moment at 6mins 20seconds mark 😂 even they use zebra crossings so humans have no excuses not to lol. Gear drive might end up being more popular than I expected. I agree about the charging lead, when it locks in, love that, those little things make a huge difference. Congrats on the weight loss/range gain! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one mate!
Thanks so much for the great comments. Love how they used the zebra crossing. Had to share it. 🤣 I love my off-road boards and I agree, this is a great example of an off the shelf set up. I’m really interested in a full & real range test now with a real rider. Smaller tires for road and pathways would be great too. Agreed on the name. 😳 apparently NYX is a Greek goddess. Not sure this is the real reason for the name. Thanks again for all of your support.🤙🏻
@@CraigTaylorYT That's awesome to hear. I just got my first board, expected to arrive today, Trampa Big Boi Spur Gear with the Li-Po Monster Box. I've learned a lot from your channel. I'm hoping to hit a few beginners trails here in North Carolina once I get a little riding experience. The Z1 was high on my list of which board to choose as my first board. Thanks for the feedback and happy holidays 😀
This board is really nice. I actually just got one of my own a week ago. I’ve had a short go on the Propel and loved it. Super carvy and easy to steer. Really liked it. The suspension gives a level of ride comfort that traditional trucks don’t. It really comes down to what you are after and what sort of terrain you want to ride constantly. The NYX is slightly higher top speed, the propel I think has more torque better for hill climbing. Both amazing boards. You have a tough one to make on this. I hope I’ve helped, and hoped I didn’t make the decision harder.😉
Sorry I somehow missed your reply until just now. Thanks for getting back to me, appreciate your thoughts. Without having ridden either I can see your points. I prefer the idea of gear drive over belts, but can buy the Nyx locally (well, interstate fro Ecrooz) as opposed to the Endeavor. Both have a beastly battery and range so fairly equal there. Argh!
@@adamsimonow I was part owner of Ecrooz previously and they are great guys. Because they are local, support etc will be much better, but obviously the final decision is yours. Good luck.
Sorry I can’t check as the board has gone. From memory, and I cannot guarantee, I don’t think they do, and I believe you would have to change bearing in these wheels as I think the shaft sizes are different too. Sorry I can’t give you a guarantee, but I will look into it and see if I can get you an answer. 😐
@@Pedrobeaar hi mate. I needed the coin to pay for other things. 😭 this RU-vid things costs, and I really want the podcast to start and needed to push out a lot of $$. Unfortunately being self funded for all this, it’s a balance.
Manufacturers chucking up motor wattage ratings as if they’re relevant specs is getting out of hand with these guys claiming 12000w while only really using a little under 5400w if you go off the rest of the specs that actually contribute to the useable rating.
Thanks for the note. It was probably I should have pointed out. Will definitely include it in the future. It’s very relevant. Appreciate you taking the time to comment. 🤙🏻
@@CraigTaylorYT All good mate, nothing on you there if the manufacturer isn't going to share that information off the mark. At least you get it with already riding your Trampa and Baja and knowing the ride feel difference running higher amps.
So glad you liked the review and thanks so much for watching. I would only recommend the mbs F5 bindings. I have them on my Trampa and are the most comfortable and supportive for me. Fair bit of adjustment too. Enjoy your board mate. It’s a weapon. 🤙🏻
@@CraigTaylorYT Thanks Craig. I just placed an order for the F5's - Interested in selling your board? I'm impatient LOL don't want to wait until After December 25th Haha
Nice review. Did You check if the screws below deck under battery box is possible some way rebuild? To be able slide on deck over some obstacle in off road ride.🛹🤘
Thanks so much for watching. Really appreciated. I didn’t pull it apart as I borrowed it from a close mate. We will look into it shortly. I’d probably put taper headed bolts in it and insert from underneath the deck and back up into the battery enclosure into nylock nuts. Agreed, for sliding, you need to mod it. 🤙🏻🛹
