Yes, if you've broken three Chromebooks in a year you definitely need something like this. Hopefully it will last you a longer time because it's pretty robust.
I think the mediatek chipset in the Chromebook 311 seems very interesting one with the aspect of the processing power and also posses an improved design and great setup for regular usage.
On the drop test, I ran for the train recently and my C722 fell out of my bag and crashed onto the stone flags of Oxford station as I ran. A fellow passenger picked it up for me and it worked _fine._
Just ordered one just for simple personal use. Had to get the extra protection just for my heavy handed ways. My older Chromebook is having key problems (HP) and out of updates. Cheers from Minnesota.
Do you by chance know what the difference is between the Acer Chromebook Spin 311 CP311-3H-K23X and CP311-3H-K3WL. I am making my purchase today. Just want to know if there is a difference with these numbers/letters?
It's perfectly fine for streaming videos, surfing the web and stuff like that. It isn't as fast as a medium spec Chromebook. For the money though it's fine.
My Chromebook spontaneously shuts down. I have to hold the power button for 15 seconds and it reboots, but I use it for work. There's the risk that it will shut down while I'm working remotely with colleagues. Otherwise it does what I need it to do for work, but because of this shutting down problem, I'll never buy another one.
@@ChromeComputingTV It happened on two I've used, but different series and models. Both were Series CB514-1H, Model N18Q3, manufactured in December 2018. It's possible the problem has been corrected since then.
