Bro i bought this laptop and i am hearing a slight buzzing,sparking noise from the underside of the laptop (should keep your ear close to hear sometimes its loud), not from fan but in the ram-cpu area, i searched and found people with same issue in other acer aspire laptop, i called warranty support they came switched the ram but i am still hearing the sound, my warranty will finish in about 2 months, so i want to check with you if you are also facing the same issue, if so please let me know, that would be helpful. There is some people in the acer community facing the same issue people who have swapped their entire cooling system and still face the issue, so i want to check if its normal or should i send the laptop for motherboard replacement. I think the sound is from the gpu or cpu chip.

@@udayakumarshanmugam4830 The main difference in both the laptops are their wifi and power supply .aspire 5 has wifi 6E better than aspire 7 having wifi 6 , but the power supply in aspire 7 is 135W which is better than aspire 5 . Both the graphics cards gtx 1650 and rtx 2050 gives kind of same performance in both the laptops

If possible than check and update performance difference by using both Acer Asphire 5 and 7 on battery only i.e. by disconnecting the power adapter.

No bro you're wrong here... Higher wattage adapter does'nt determine your charging time... I'll give you the reason: I have Asus TUF A17 with gtx 1660ti and Ryzen 7 4800h that comes with 180W power adapter.. only 35W goes to fast charge the battery.. the rest of the power is drawn by the GPU and CPU... the people with gtx 1650 get a 150W power adapter because the gpu and cpu are lower tier...

@@martoivanov1882 changing the charger shouldn't give any difference because the wattage usage for both gpu and cpu and hard-coded in the bios for each laptop which you can change but it's very lengthy and risky as well... So in short most probably no..

In some games,2050 is 25-15% slower than 1650, faster processor is the one that reduce it to 15-10% . but some times its 15% faster than 1650, its a REBRANDED MX card.35% slower in control,Heavy stutturing in Assassinscreed games and division 2 ,20% slower in forza,15% faster in cyber punk.

You forget one thing Acer aspire 7 have a huge thermal throttle issues due to with after an hour it goes to 91 even after changing the thermal paste because of less air ventilation As same as aspire 5 have less and we can enjoy for more time so it's better having less performance but more stability

91°C is fine for budget gaming laptop. Even ROGs go upto 90°. And it doesn't thermal throttle at all. Idk who gave you false information. It can go upto 100°C without throttling.

@@IndraD It is true until your cpu clock automatically at 400 frequency after reaching high temperature so better get to know things first

@@itsrahulverma_ my cpu pretty much always goes upto 4.5Ghz. it stays between 3.6ghz to 4.5ghz and temps usually fluctuate between 85-90°C and it never throttles. If you'd do your research you'd know that Intel's H series processor can handle upto 105°C temps before throttling. Don't bash on a laptop just cause you don't understand what's happening.

Aspire 5 claims that it's storage can be upgraded as it have an extra free slot for SSD upgradation but Aspire 7 doesn't claims that it has storage upgradation, can you please confirm the storage upgradation situation in both of these laptops. Thank you

I am using aspire 7 from more than year and it still performs great on new titals Specs : Core i5 9300h (oc 4.4 ghz )(max temp 80° c) 16 gb ddr4 3199 MHz GTX 1650 TI (4 GB) I had bought it for ₹52 k Bench marks GTA v = 60 fps stable ( 1080 p ultra) SOTR = 55 ~ 60 FPS. ( 1080 p high) RDR 2 = 60 Fps stable ( 1080p high) CS GO = 100+ fps(1440 p high )(ext. display) Forza 5 = 50+ fps ( 1080p medium) CP 2077 = 60 fps stable (1080p medium) Minecraft with optifine = 60+ fps @ 1440 p With 32 chunks render distance. CITRA emu (Pokemon sun ) 60+ fps speed =200% at 1440p . This laptop got very nice thermals better than those crappy Dell laptops, at this price recommended for coding and gaming , also a great choice for students under budget, I moded it with RGB keyboard , the given keyboard was okeish and track pad works so smooth without any shuttering . I had also claimed warranty once (because my laptop got some malware )so to fix this , they did repair it without any questions under 2 hours , after sales service is so good. Overall fully satisfied with the product and it's only laptop in budget which has lightweight with not so light performance. Just only problem is charger ,its freakingly heavy.

@@divyvnsh I think the reason for his high fps is due to him connecting the laptop to an external display.. Because external display is connected directly to the gpu, therefore he's getting 10-20% more fps than others.... Also, he might have undervolted his cpu to reduce the temperatures...

Dont buy neither Aspire 5 nor 7. Wait for Aspire 7 with RTX 2050. Or any other laptop with Max 45W RTX 2050. Because there are many more RTX 2050 laptop to come.

Can You Please Tell How To Turn On Turbo Boost, I Am Having Acer Nitro 5 ( i7 10th gen nd gtx 1650 ) and dont know the tgp of my gpu as it is not shown in control panel, My GPU's Clock Speed Also Gets Stuck At Its Base Clock, Is It Because Of Thermal Throttle ? ( my cpu temps stay 92-93 and never go above it and my gpu temps stay at 87-89) all the time i.e right from the start till i close the game.
