Hi there, I replaced the DC jack no problem thanks to your video. The machine still doesn't charge (tried 2 chargers) so I'm wondering if you think it could be something else, or the new DC jack was also bad? Is there any way to test the DC jack so I know whether to try to return it as defective? Thanks so much.

How did you know the DC jack was bad? Having an issue with mine shows that it's charging but will not turn on... I'm lost. Any help is great.

What is the slot next to the memory slot? I'm wondering what goes in there?

Mine makes beeping noise, on and off, when I plug in, then it stops and won't charge. Should I replace still?

when facing the laptop the hard drive is to the left of the memory, but what is the slot to the right of the memory?
