Thanks for liking the video. Thermal paste and thermal pads are absolute critical - without them your computer will overheat in matter of minutes. Get any thermal paste from local computer store and it will be enough. I use Arctic Silver 5, it's expensive.

i got the same modèle it turns on but it shows nothing on the screen,the fan keeps spinning, i remplaced the gpu with a new one but nothing…do you have a solution plz? Could be the problem from the bios ?

I've got the same PC, i changed the HDD by a SSD and when i want to install Win10, he reboot automaticaly. (I tried with all the windows XP/Vista/Seven/8.1 and 10 and it's the same or that freeze at one moment). I tried an another HDD , RAM , with or without battery and always reboot at the beging of the pre loading before lunch the installation. I tried and old live cd Hiren and i success lunch Mini Win XP and work with. I can't know if it's the motherboard, the Graphic Card or the CPU. I put some new the thermal past and already the heat is way low now.

i have same model of acer, problem is when turns on it shuts off in the next seconds , i have taken ram chips off and then run it and it power ups and run but the ram chips are not faulty i have tried in other laptop both chips working so what you think the problem is ?

Nice video. Altho i wouldn't let you fix my 8930... You don't use any anti-static protection, very unprofessional. But then again you might not fix enough to have that worry. And that drill thing is probably not even an anti-static one. I mean were talking about thousands of Volts. And yes i have broken my share of hardware due to not having anti-static protection. Oh and next time to make it easier take of the caps on the side's were that charging port and the kensington-lock port are. That way you don't have to flex the part with the power button. And don't tape those wires, you'll break them. I wouldn't have expected it but this looks very unprofessional, looks more like someone fixing their own laptop/notebook.

This is bullshit. I was hoping to see a motherboard REPAIR which is what it says in the title but all you do is REPLACE the motherboard. BIG THUMBS DOWN from me.
