I have an Acer Aspire laptop that I will be replacing charging port on. Aspire E5-575-5493

I have an previously owned Acer laptop and they told there wasn't anything wrong with the laptop. At first, the charging of it wasn't too difficult for the laptop to charge but now I can barely get it to charge. The port is super loose! But mine doesn't have a a cd/dvd player. Do acer laptops use the same kind of ports?

Great video! I have the same series laptop and have opened it a few times just fyi you don't need to remove the mechanical hard drive to remove the panel also adding a nvme SSD (upto 512gb to get optimum performance) greatly enhances the performance of the machine and is very easy to do so with the quick access bay. Thank you!

I have a problem where the screw on the hinge on top the charger port will just keep spinning and cant be pulled out any solutions?

I have an Acer Aspire E15 laptop that I accidentally plugged my scooter charger into. They look so much alike. I did catch it within an hour but not in time. My laptop is dead now. Did I fry the motherboard? Or do I just need to replace charger? PLEASE HELP! 😢

Hi Dale, thanks for your videos. When cloning an SSD, I have had issues booting from the new one if the old one is still in the machine. Is that usual? Same machine as your Razer Blade 15 tutorial, and using Samsung migration sw for a Samsung drive.

Hi. Try removing the old drive to see if you get a good from new one. The boot Manger is locked in the old drive. If you have a USB to 2.5 inch sata adapter, you can format old drive that way, then put it back in computer. Make sure you have a good boot first, on new drive.
