NOTES: 1. Her Sig LC's Mirage Fizzle gives both a DMG% bonus and Ult DMG% bonus. There's no Vulnerability effect, so all in all the LC buffs just 2 diff multipliers (Crit+DMG% bonus). My bad! No change in evaluation, still stronk. 2. Re Incessant Rain and PAYN LCs: PAYN's Erode has a chance to apply per HIT on any number of enemies. But Incessant Rain's Aether Code chance is only on one hit enemy per attack. 3. One nice thing about Kafka is since her FUA applies Shock, that's an extra source to help charge Acheron. Forgot to mention! 4. Apparently, E4 does count as a debuff and thus helps add stacks, as now reported by 2 other commenters. That's most useful in Pure Fiction with constant new enemy waves, and it's a bit better than I initially assumed! I'm out of pulls and deciding whether to pull her lightcone or save pulls this patch for future characters. I think I will save. It's a noticable drop but GNSW is still very strong. Thanks!

PS: I only spend money for characters I really, really want. The last time I spent money on this game was during Dan Heng IL's debut banner where I got him E0S1. Spend reasonably everyone!

if you can only pull 1 sig LC this game, Pull for Acheron's 1. Her LC is the single biggest upgrade to a dps ever (~25% as opposed to ~11-15% for IL / Jingliu) you can do 400k ults easy 2. It adds debuff to her attacks = it fills her petals / energy, you can almost ult every turn with the right team 3. Speedrunning Gold & Gears
I would say it could also be Sparkle's Light Cone (Earthly Escapade). It gives 10% Crit Rate and 28% Crit Dmg to *all* allies and additional Crit Dmg to the ally that receives the buff from Sparkle's skill. Sparkle is already a very good support as it is, but with her signature light cone, she is so much better. We also know how hard it is to get decent Crit values for several characters, so it makes it easier.
In terms of ult damage gnsw does around 15% less damage. The difference for the signature LC is that in 3 or 4 cycles you can ult one more time which leads to massive % difference in some spreadsheets.
Was so happy to have gotten her signature lightcone today cause I've tried her other alts and they were just plain worthless. It always made Acheron feel way too limited so getting here signature lightcone today was very exciting.

I got her E0S1, she has pretty bad gear, but still deletes enemies. She's such a menace, and she's really fun to play! (And she's pretty cute) Love that you can have your team build stacks for her, very interesting to make decisions with when fighting enemies ^^

i was initially just pulling her because.. well.. raiden, duh. but damn she's strong. running her with gnsw and a a mediocre pioneer/izumo combo (50/150, 3600 atk) and she already feels pretty amazing. currently 55/80 on the lc banner, gonna try to hit her lc with whatever tickets i'm getting during the duration of her banner. also, since you mentioned aventurine potentially being good in the future: i played aventurine/acheron/pela/sw during his pov quest line and their synergy seemed veeeery good.
I think Acheron welt silver wolf and Ruan mei is also a good choice u can kinda sustain with Ruan mei as well with her ultimate combined with welt it's a pretty nice combo and we still have silver wolf for imaginary weakness break and all...ofc u need a lot of investment and energy regeneration management with welt and Ruan me in this comp but belive me i tried it and it's giving crazy number even without her light cone and Ruan mei bloom is also a debuff

I got her E0S1 and never been happier, my favorite unit in the game (biased as a HI3 player also) I'm glad you showed that even with her other LC options she can still do ridiculous dmg, i got tired of people saying before she came out that she wasnt "F2P friendly" and "needs her LC" when she's a top 3 dps even with her F2P alternatives. She's arguably the most F2P friendly dps in the game, when considering the ROI.
Nice guide as always, im going to use acheron, welt, pela and gallagher just to have another team without use any character of others team that i have.
Yeah she just seems like a lot of work to use and I'm not really playing the game until the summertime anyway. What does guide does do is make her seem approachable but I'm still not sure. I think they're already starting to overuse this Raiden style dark hair with big sword look also. As a f2p player, if they are not kicking arse at e0 then I can't bother.
@SevyPlays correction! If Pela ult is ready with Acheron ult, the auto-battle uses Pela ult first and allows Acheron to store a Quad Ascent stack! Not sure about black swan though

Thanks for the guide as always Sevy! I was torn about whether or not to get her or just save for Aventurine. Told my wife to click the 10 pull button when the patch dropped just to see if her luck was better than mine for her to get Clara and then Acheron the very next pull. Not only did she win for me but it was my first double 5 star pull 😂 and it enabled me to get her light cone.
Finally building her, your guides are as always a blessing! I'm a bit curious on why the defense shreds stack with both Pela and Silverwolf though, I thought in many cases debuffs only take the strongest one applied?
Just got Acheron and her LC, thanks for this guide it is very informative, I was wondering whether I should build her SPD or ATK, but since my other nihility units (Silverwolf, Pela) is fast enough to apply/reapply debuffs I'm going for an ATK, her damage is INSANE!!!
Is E6 really that broken? Being able her E and basic and ult dont seem to compare to her ult. I would like to know by how much does it actually improve her damage in practice.
DoTcheron team is incredibly fun and powerful. Kafka/BS combo is already such a good comp and Acheron enhanced it further. You can forgo a sustain and still clear pretty well. Only Sam gives this team trouble but if you want more flexibility it helps to swap a Harmony for a sustain if you don't care to 0 cycle.

Explosive! Her AoE Ult DMG, the stack mechanics, her multipliers, and her kit. It really screams Nihility. The fact that one needs a team with fast debuffers to apply unto enemies just for her to Ult, without the need to potentially move or to have as much SPD, makes it so jarring that a DPS such as Acheron now exists in HSR.
Thank you for acknowledging that Guinaifen is a good 4-star option! I’ve seen other creators just say that she’s ‘meh’ because she pales in comparison to other options-“other options” being highly rated limited 5-star characters. Obviously she won’t be as strong as those 5-stars, but she’s still good if you don’t have those 5-stars!
I pulled for her and her light cone. I haven't played her yet because I need to get her up and I hadn't farmed for her relics at all. I can't wait to play her.
The limited LC options plus non-E2 makes her really restrictive & linear for a F2P. Though once you meet her conditions she becomes such a rewarding character, even at E0S0 I have her at E2S1 & it has made her gameplay that much more fun. It gave a much needed breath of fresh air to the HSR experience. It even made me pick up Fire MC again since Taunt skill is a debuff & paired w Trend of the Universal Market makes for hilarious interactions in fights w multiple enemies. I end up getting my ult every turn or less combined w Gallagher & Pela. She's just so fun. I'm close to Welt E4 so I can't wait to try that out too, but I'm still enjoying Pela, Gall, & Fire MC team.
I finally won lvl 5 swarm with Acheron in my team (at E0 to boot). Her with the right path, blessings and weakness choices gave me a sure win. Tried it 3 times to be sure.
Hi Sevy; you aren't mentioning that her E4 applying vulnerability counts towards her Slashed Dreams stacks, which in things like Swarm is a MASSIVE buff in how quick you can get her ULT back. To be honest not many people mention it, and its a big upgrade in that type of content.

I am currently in love with team comp i made fr Acheron Acheron, SW, Welt and fire MC Fire MC with the Topaz lightcone Welt with Shirtless Luka SW with Sparkle LC Acheron with S5 pela lightcone I was able to 3 star MOC 11 fr the first time thanks to this formation.
Ok, so here's two team suggestions I'm considering, if anyone has some advice, let me know: Gepard/Fire Trailblazer with Trend of the Universal Market, Acheron, Black Swan and Gallagher or alternatively Welt, Acheron, Black Swan, Gallagher. Here my reasoning: fire trailblazer can apply taunt, break fire weakness and apply burn because of trend. Gepard can apply freeze, break ice weakness and apply burn because of trend. Either of those are good for the purpose of shielding, drawing aggro as well as applying debuffs for Acheron's ult charge. Acheron is a no-brainer obviously. Black Swan is just great because everything she does applies arcana and also she's just completely broken and her damage is insane and I love her. Lastly, I prefer having an abundance unit as well as another preservation or destruction unit just for a more comfortable playing experience. Now usually, my go-to for every team is Luocha since his healing is insanely comfortable, but Gallagher is the obvious choice for this, since he can break fire weakness very easily and also applies besottet versus Luocha only being able to break imaginary weakness. As for the second team, Welt functions very similarly to a preservation unit if his ERR and EHR is high enough, since obviously you can't get hit if your enemies just never get a turn. So while I'd be careful with that, Welt is a nihility unit, so he counts for Acheron's Ascension ability, he applies imprisonment and can break imaginary weakness. If you see a flaw in my logic, please point that out. For context, My Welt is E1, level 80 with a level 80 In the Name of the World and 10/10/10 talents, my Black Swan is level 80 with a level 80 Good Night and Sleep Well and 10/10/10 talents, my level 80 Acheron is running my other level 80 Good Night and Sleep Well, my Fire Trailblazer and Gepard are both very well built, I'm currently leveling up my Trend of the Universal Market and my Acheron's and Gallagher's talents. So over all, my preservation boys are pretty good, my Welt is a fairly competitive DPS and imprisonment unit, my Black Swan is well built and I'm currently building Acheron and Gallagher, so resource investment is a non-factor here.
Even with f2p teams and without her light cone, she changed everything in my account. Of course I needed to pull pela and gallagher too, this banner was a must pull for a recent player like me. Simulated universe now is very easy, and farming materials is truly comfortable. It can be restricting for both new and old players, but she's worth all the gems.
@@GenshinGhost Since I started recently the game, I still don't have kafka silver wolf or black swan. However using Pela gallagher pyro trailblazer and dan heng is still fine. It all depends from acheron lvl too and her ascensions. Just be aware that you can still play her as a f2p player and get all the advantages of her playstyle. Good luck.
