Ircc from the planar back story izumo and takamagahara has always been orbiting the black sun (black hole) instead of a proper star. So I'm guessing that's what shiragaoni mean "you and I both know, the way of salvation doesn't exist" and Archeron "we were long been under their shadow"(referring to IX/black sun). It just alluding that the destruction of their world is inevitable be it from kami or the black sun.

The line "Embracing his final victory with his fall." Really feels like an Otto kind of reference. And the, "Countless others would surpass him, soaring to even greater heights." Because, at least as far as i'm aware, there isn't really anyone who surpassed Kevin in strength. Maybe Kiana now, or a select few others. But more or less, the only person that took the fall for the world, so the new generation Valkyries could soar, would be Otto. Also, Welt likely has him on his mind, given he saw Luocha in the Xianzhou, even if only a photo.
Actually it does still reference Kevin. In his dialogue back in HI3rd part 1 Kevin said to Kiana and co. to surpass him. Kevin 50 thousand years plan, burdens him with project Stigma. That was all of his last final plan against the Honkai. Then he wished for proof. Even on the last hour. That's why when project Stigma fail and he defeated, that's when he knows that someone DID surpass him. And those people can do better than him without sacrificing the "future"

Connected as what? When you say connected that mean each other must be affecting their counter parts. If something change in HI3 its gonna affecting HSR, but no its not. Just play, it's never too late dihi3. But, before you play it you don't need to play the gameplay, just play the story because that's where the story will probably be connected to Honkai star rail
i play for lore, stuck at a certain story cuz theres connected story (elysian realms) to main story. i want to fully understand to each 13 character so i pause main story. and i kinda suck at endgame stuff

In the end he did it, he finally archive his goals of humanity winning and rest peacefully after 50 thousand years knowing that the group(Welt's group) that was against him and Project Stigma will leading humanity towards a bright future
It doesn't seem like Acheron's conversation earlier, that he killed Kevin himself and after killing him he saw emptiness in his world. it was terrible to see acheron's conversation,that Acheron's world was completely destroyed without Kiana, his bro and Kevin. sadly LG even killed him himself 😭
