Achi Chokyi Drolma - The main Dharma Protector of Drikung Kagyu
According to prophecy in the Chakrasamvara Tantra it is said, "The head of the Karma Dakinis will come to the area of Tidro cave in Drikung. This will be a nirmanakaya manifestation of Vajrayogini.” This was the prophecy of the great Dharma Protector, Achi Chokyi Dolma.Achi was the great grandmother of Lord Jigton Sumgon, founder of the Drikung Kagyu Lineage. To this day she remains a great dharma protector of the Buddha's teachings. Although Achi has a particular commitment to protect the Drikung Kagyu, she is recognized and practiced by practitioners of all lineages of Tibetan Buddhism.She is the emanation of Vajra Yogini who is the embodiment of the wisdom and compassion of all the Buddhas. She is the divine mother of the Buddhas who manifested out of compassion in the form of the Dakinis of the Five Buddha families. In order to benefit beings in samsara she displays a limitless number of manifestations at different times and in different space dimensions.At the time of her death, Achi Chokyi Drolma did not pass away in an ordinary manner. She first took her disciples to a huge cave where many sacred and secret items were discovered. Then she offered a tsok feast, and those who partook of that feast achieved many sublime qualities of the Buddhas. Then Achi composed a text containing a sadhana of herself and promised to look after the teachings of the Buddha and to protect the essence of his teachings that would appear in the future.
Achi Chokyi Drolma - Vị Hộ pháp chính của dòng truyền thừa Drikung Kagyu
Mật điển Thượng Lạc Kim Cang [Chakrasamvara Tantra] đã tiên tri rằng, "Vị Không hành nữ thượng thủ trong số các Karma Dakinis sẽ đến [với thế giới này] ngay hang động Tidro ở Drikung và là ứng hoá thân của Vajrayogini [Kim Cang Du Già Thánh nữ". Đây là tiên đoán về Vị Hộ Pháp vĩ đại, Đức Achi Chokyi Drolma.
Achi là người bà vĩ đại của Đức Pháp Chủ Jigten Sumgon, vị Tổ sáng lập dòng truyền thừa Drikung Kagyu. Cho đến ngày nay bà vẫn là một vị Hộ Pháp vĩ đại cho giáo pháp của Đức Phật. Mặc dù Đức Achi có một lời kết nguyện bảo vệ dòng truyền thừa Drikung Kagyu, bà vẫn được học giả của tất cả các dòng phái Phật giáo khác công nhận và thực hành. Bà là hiện thân của Vajrayogini [Kim Cang Du Già Thánh nữ], hiện thân của trí tuệ và từ bi của tất cả chư Phật. Bà là bà mẹ thiêng liêng của chư Phật hoá hiện từ lòng bi mẫn trong hình tướng của các Không Hành Nữ trong năm Gia đình Phật. Để làm lợi lạc cho chúng sinh trong cõi luân hồi bà đã phô diễn vô số hình tướng vào những thời điểm và ở những chiều không gian khác nhau.
