I lead weight loss groups every few months, and we play this video at one of our sessions. Mark does a great job of explaining how I was successful at losing 70# and have kept the weight off for 4 years. I broke my "Big" goal (lose 70#) into Small goals (5# increments), and then further broke THOSE goals into a series of tiny steps that I could accomplish daily (skip my evening snack, eat smaller portion sizes, do some kind of exercise each day, etc.). It worked! As I achieved each "mini goal", I celebrated my small successes. Each step got me closer to my goal -- until I achieved my goal. Although Mark's video wasn't around when I achieved my weight loss success, it has been helpful for the people who come through my classes. Thank you for sharing this!

Thanks for the inspirational talk Mark. How to apply this at work where we have to juggle between multiple projects together? Did it work better for you if you just focus on one task divided into small pieces and finish it off or were you working on multiple things in parallel?

I think we need about 20 more TED videos telling us that achieving big goals is possible by breaking it down into very small actions. Should be enough by then, maybe 30 more.

ATTENTION!!!! Don't fall in to the trap looking for rich life!!! If you leave your comfort zone 100% you will regret later one!!!!!! If you think you will get there and there is resources on earth, to fulfill everyones dreams you totally lost!!!!!!! Only few people get to the top the rest who tried to get there, has been used for fish food!!!!!!!!
