In Ireland it does not matter if it rains or shines. We all still love exploring this beautiful country. The only island we have explored in ireland is Valentia island, there is an old slate mine, and many other sights.👍

I'm from Dublin and holliday in Achill for the past 38 years, it's like my 2nd home. I've stayed in Seal Caves in the mobiles, you can book them but need to book early. I also stayed in Sandybanks Keel .Lovely video and glad you took your time visiting Achill as some RU-vidrs arrive for a day and never see the Island others have a flying visit andif the weather is bad they'r gone the next day.

Thanks David! I’ve always from a child been interested in the natural world and I taught bushcraft Survival and tracking for over two decades which my nature skills played a big part of me getting in to in the first place, I retain nature information like a sponge, it’s my thing I suppose bud, gotta be good at something lol 😂

I remember years ago that there was no campsite at Keel , I put my tent up among the sheep and they chewed the ropes , at that time it was really wild with almost no tourists and I also stayed at the Valley House which had a bar and I had many’s a great night with great live music . This island is where I should have been born .

Hi mate great video how old were you when you left Canada and where were you born? I was born in Winnipeg and I left when I was 3 1/2 but I still have a Canadian passport. Dad was Canadian. Mum was English.

Will you be going to Limerick....if so there's a campsite called Adare camping... really cheap and has everything you need including a hot tub.
