*Me, watching this:* ah, so I am untalented and undedicated, got it Nah but seriously, hot damn I can't imagine how long this must have taken, especially with all of the small details and homages to ancient Greek art. I'm genuinely speechless.

It's... Literally so evocative. The feelings and pain are palpable. Its a work right from your heart and we as a viewer of the art are hit hard. It's both really well crafted and powerful. I have nothing else to say but thank you for creating an honest work.

I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense, but this video feels like something you see when you blink. A dream- a glimpse into another life through the memories of someone you will never know. You close your eyes for a moment in a dark room and you see this; bit by bit, piece by piece.. memory by memory

I would be impressed with a one minute animation because this song is long this has so much sybolysim and complex imagery i can’t even comprehend how good this is

Coming back after reading 'the song of achilles', this has even more of a bitter aftertaste.

i don’t know how to describe it but this feels like a centuries old painting about pain and longing that gets hung up in the louvre

This is amazing, how modern reality fits so well with ancient times reality without much need for any fiction. The animation fits the song as if if was made as a direct music video. The reality of different tries and trying to fix everything but not being able to and trying to just jump is always a dynamic that can only be portrayed in one way and this shows every single way that it can be shown

This is so underrated. Achilles come down is one of the most amazing hope songs ever, and this is... wow. It’s like an alternative ending for this song, and on one hand I was, like, idk almost let down by the fact that they jumped, and by the end, seeing them lying, bleeding on the ground, I was in tears and actually a bit scared (idk why scared but yep). And on the other hand you can also see it as a different way to spread hope. don’t waste yourself, don’t let that be you”. Either way, I saw it in the good way and I really needed this message. I almost feel like I'm intruding on your and other people's personal lives and experiences. This is an incredible work of art and the way you tell the story through each of your drawings is simply beyond anything I can describe. And minute 5 actually gave me chills and I cried... This is beautiful and harrowing. I think what cut me the deepest is seeing the words meant to fight against the sucicidal thoughts being recontextualized as yet another statement to tear the person down. This isnt something i can imagine I'll revisit, but i certainly wont forget it either. This is a stunning work.

i knew the song before, i also know the story of achilles and patroclus and depression/suicide is a big part of my life right now.. seeing these themes in a animation is truly amazing! the artstyle, the story, the balance between mythology and our time, the drawings that give a hint to whats happening in the music... everything is on a so high level! I've been dealing with a lack of approval and dealing with unfortunately dark and devious thoughts. Constantly haunted by my past and trauma. Unfortunately, life is not kind to those who ask for goodness. So I press on. Continuing into darkness, holding my candle close, keep the flame alight. No matter how the wax burns. No matter the agony. I must keep going. I wish you all luck on your endeavors and that you may not consider the ledges that may be obscured in darkened recesses of the places our candles cannot reach.
