OMG! I'm glad I found you. I could not get it with anybody else here on youtube. They were too fast, did not explain the technique, nor even showed the feet! Thank you so much!
We know this as the 18-count version of The Electric Slide. There is an Achey Breaky dance as well, but the level is Advanced. Nice job with the "hitch-step" at the end to keep the kids from getting on the other foot, and good energy :):)
Are there different types of line dance for this country? I learned it differently ;--; And no, I don't mean the song of NO ROMPAS MÁS because that one is separate, it has a different dance. What I mean is that MY ACHY BREAKY HEART I learned to dance differently:P Even though in this video they danced it almost as it is done in Mexico:0
I actually had learned the dance to this song growing up and going to school. Aside from that, another song I think of when it comes to Valentine's Day.
Pls kindly don’t teach the wrong achy breaku heart as ppl are being mislead that this the achy breaky linedance but it is not the proper linedance. This is the electric slide and it has its own music and tutorial which you ended up teaching but using the wrong music with it. I am a professional certified line dance teacher and I too teach this as a electric slide dance and not as achy breaky heart because achy breaky heart original line isn’t fine this way!!!
Good for kinder. Many elementary schools in Texas introduce the real dance in first grade depending on the background of the kiddos. Most are from Mexico.
