Thank you for this video, it has been a great refresher! I'm an RN who has worked rehab for the last year and a half and finally starting a hospital ortho position tomorrow. Thank you for an excellent lecture. My only quandary is the effect of diuretics. On the side at approx 27:37 you have listed diuretics under causes of metabolic acidosis (due to loss of HCO3) but then in the practice questions at 38:51 you indicated that diuretics will lead to metabolic alkalosis...
