I genuinely believe that Missy was the love of Naz's life. Not in a romantic way, obviously not but Missy was her soulmate. It broke my heart when she died

I’ve cried more over missy dying than i ever cried over a boy

I think it was a bold move to kill off Missy however definitely not a bad choice. Controversial definitely however i think this gave series 3 some real grit and felt heart moments and also some great character development for Naz and everyone around her.

Love this show but season 3 was a real disappointment. Could have replaced the student-teacher storyline with something better. We had already basically had a teacher student thing in season 1. Destroyed Naveed and Corey’s relationship completely... :/ hope season 4 is a million times better.

i just started season 3 and this is going to have to be the season that does it for me to want to quit the show. they got rid of half their teachers they caused us to like, they got rid of missy, brought in a bunch of new unlikeable cast members. wtf were they thinking??? instead of bringing in new cast members, why not let the other cast members who have one line shine?

In my opinion this is a great show, however I would not like to see a season 4. When comparing this to Waterloo Road, whenever there was a new ‘era’ the characters and captivating storylines and good characters. I feel like Season 3 was nothing compared to 1 and 2. Missy dying was a huge loss to the series and it’s not the same, it’s not just that. I feel like it would’ve been right to end the show with Nasreen going to university.

Season 3 was a bit disappointing. Half of the teachers were gone without explanation; Mr Bell wasn’t in it but his baby was born as it was a plot in the series, Mr Simpson was nowhere to be seen with no explanation and Miss Keane was only shown in Missy’s funeral. Also, Adam should’ve been at Missy’s funeral at least despite breaking up, but he was nowhere to be seen also.

I’m going to say it now sam is my favourite character. She brought this new storyline onto the scene about living with a family of criminal racists. Having a new lgbtqia+ outlook and storyline. It made it better. After season 3 it goes down hill. Season 2 is by far the best with season 3 close behind. If you have seen season 4 then you would know sam as a character had lost so much and would do anything to have her old life back. And that was a nice to see as a different outlook once again. I was so sad to see sam gone in season 5. Can also say megan parkinson’s who played sam was like 20 or something when she did and she did an amazing job.

Show is terrible after season 2 it’s not even missy because she was a mess of a character. It’s mr bell when he’s gone the show loses its male appeal because mr bell was the character that you root for and want to succeed. Also ms Keane was a massive loss.
