Rip Toby. He’s probably up in Heaven singing “How do you like me now?”

Boy I must say, I’ve never grieved so much for a celebrity or someone I didn’t know as much as I have for Toby Keith. I just feel like I was there for it all. From his first big hit till the end I loved every bit of what he did and what he stood for. I felt something when Toby sang heck always will as I’ll never stop listening to the rivers of music he had left behind for us to remember him by. I hurt more for his family than I do for him. I know with his deep faith he’s singing with the angels now bless his heart. It’s his loved ones left behind that will feel the biggest void. Like his wife of almost 40 years. Prayed a bit for her. I suppose he wouldn’t want us to be sad. Rest in peace Toby Keith. There will never be another like you. ❤

I saw Toby in concert one year after 9/11 and we all waved red, white and blue bandanas, flags..... whatever we had.... when he sang 'we'll put a boot in your ass, it's the American way.' He brought a crowd of strangers together. How do we like you now, Cowboy? The same as always: we LOVE YOU.

My sister died of Brain Cancer a few days after Toby. They are with the Lord. It hurts but they are much more happy now.

My boyfriend Mike and I were huge Toby Keith fans right from the start. Mike passed away suddenly in 2020 after only a 4 week battle with lymphoma. Because of Covid I wasnt allowed to see him to say goodbye. His daughter wouldnt play our song for him "You shouldnt kiss me like this". Maybe you can sing it for him now Toby please? God bless you Toby for writing and singing songs that hold our hearts and souls ❤❤
