I think people severely underestimate how much acne takes a toll on one's mental health. your confidence literally gets ruined and people who never really struggled with bad acne breakouts will NEVER be able to fully empathize. it's literally the fucking worst. I'm so glad you cleared your skin man, really happy for you
I remember my younger sisters friend looking at my acne and saying “What’s wrong with your face it’s so gross” I just glared daggers at her head thinking *wow can’t wait to see your puberty journey*
Yeah, I totally get it! When I went to a shop to get some stuff!! Shop owner started advising me to use acne products which might help me to get rid of my acne😢 it was soo embarassing for me ! He is a stranger and he was very rude when he was advising, he always poked me by repeating wash your face , you look dirty 😭
plz try not to do that during puberty i had terrible acne and i become rlly self conscious even tho now i dont have much acne problems ( itpops up only during period or when i eat very spicy food) but not making eye conact and hiding become like habit everytime im in public i always look in phone just to avoid ppl im scared to be noticed by others and its very problematic im trying to become more confident.
I actually can't remember my face without red little scars etc Edit: just saw a picture of me in 7th grade and I actually want to cry My skin was *S M O O T H*
Same the worst is seeing old pictures of yourself when you were the one with the clearest skin and no need for foundation when everyone else was breaking out. I had the clearest ever skin until 18 then from 18-25 I just have horrible hormonal acne -_-
For real! I’m used to getting pimples around the cheek area but nothing really severe, but using a face mask made it really bad and that’s why I ended up watching this video
@@Unknown_45558 same I have really bad acne and it only makes it worse, I recommend getting cotton face masks and cleaning them everyday after school, silk face masks are better because they don't cause friction on the skin, the reason you get acne is probs cuz friction, sweat and bacteria all trapped under a mask leading to acne, silk will help but if you cant buy silk then wash ur cotton mask everyday if you have them!
this is going to sound really really really weird but to me it's kinda hot if a person has acne and isnt ashamed of it, seems more natural than a whole clean face looking like melted plastic
My acne started shortly after I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, and it made my self esteem go even lower than I thought it could. I'm currently trying to improve my mental health and I hope my acne goes away when I start being happy from within again.
No, it could contribute if you hold it to your face or touch your phone and touch your face BUT that is not why. More importantly it’s not your fault most likely so don’t buy into that bs. Thank her for your genes
I pick on my pimples and touch my face almost all the time but omg the way you warn NOT TO TOUCH YOUR FACE got my hands automatically stay away from my face istg 😂
*Im so confused honestly.* I feel like everyone finds their own unique way of getting rid of their acne and stuff but it never works on my skin, and I seriously don’t know what to do. I’ve tried so many things people have said got rid of their acne but they never work. I don’t want to waste any more money or irritate my skin even more..... Anyone else feel lost? 😔
IM NOT ALONE OMF I also try to be as far away to someone as possible when I talk to them and stuff and I never make eye contact because just knowing that someone is looking at my face makes me so uncomfortable bc all I think about is how gross they find my skin and I wear my hair in a way that hides my face as much as possible. I hardly go out and if I do i ask to meet my friends like at night when it’s dark. I hate being out doors in the daylight and I’ve spent hours crying about my skin especially if I’m meant to be going to college or just out that day and it looks disgusting and even make up can’t cover it up. I’ve tried sooooooo many things I’ve been on diets and all but nothing seems to work. I’m ganna have to let it go naturally if it ever does but honestly as sad as it sounds my skin does restrict me from doing things I want to do and really really ruins social experiences for me. I’ve literally cancelled on my mates and my football games and just going out because of it. I wish I wouldn’t let it get to me but it does and I don’t know how to make myself feel ok with my skin - it’s just life. That’s my story lmao btw good vid makes me feel good that I’m not the only one who feels like this and you’re looking v good now thanks for sharing!
Try adding vitamins with your diet and drinking water.. I cut out most meat and dairy. I still eat fish and take lysine it seems to be working. I'm bout to try probiotics also. Hope it works out for you❤
Katie K omg saaaame. It actually is a biggg reason why I have developed social anxiety so it came to a point where I neverrrr wanted to go anywhere because of my acne, it even stopped me from talking to guys because they will be disgusted by my “yuck face” but if you’re still having problems you should really talk to a dermatologist to get you on accutane. It is helping me soooo much and you should try curology because I’ve seen a lot of good reviews on that as well
Going on a diet does fucking nothing... I’ve always ate like shit and I never got acne. Not until I hit like age 13 when it started. I only get acne on my chin and sides of my jaw line. It’s depressing though. I’ve been taking this zinc product for about 4 days. Haven’t seen any results. I’ve gotten at least 4 new pimples since I’ve been taking them. It sucks man. Really makes me feel ugly and insecure.
@@loneheshlonehesh3973 I did that I avoid chips pizza sodas I still get black heads my husband eats chips all this junk food and doesn't uses lotion or washes face knocks out with his face on the floor gets high n he has a clear skin.😖
it's funny cause my acne is like a minecraft spawner. it always comes back in the same exact spot. and it's all around my mouth so i look like i have permant herpies !
Im 42 now and quite successful in my life. But until today I am feeling unsecure in elevators with „Bad“ light behause of my Acne scar. My youth ( 15 to 21 years) has been negatively influenced by acne enormous. I wish you all Young and older People with acne all the best and a lot of Courage.
Anyone out there using diet to combat acne I’m with you!!! Every time I watch a vid that says diet doesn’t help I get sooo discouraged because it’s not easy. I completely cut out sugar and junk food and try to have less dairy. Plus I eat probiotics, whole or vitamin rich foods now. It significantly helps.
we dont have acne in my country because every time some girl/boy try to pop a pimple a sandal come flying from somewhere or if there no sandal a slap from youre friend
Been stressing over my acne coming back the last three weeks or so, def think stress is a major factor for me. Your attitude is helping me feel better about it as it is starting to improve again. Thank you for the reminder to stay positive!
actually acne its quite common to everyone esp teenagers bcs i used to have that when i was in yr 10 like those fcking red mountaineous acne on my face but after a year i washed my face alot drink water, my mom bought me a "simple" facewash and it worked . but daMN THOSE PIC IN YOUR THUMBNAIL THO GAVE ME GOOSEBUMPS LIKE TRYPOPHOBIA ALERT. I impressed with your changes. i hope your tips will help ppl who have an acne ☺☺
Ibrahimmmmmmm wow, just wow you deserve the glow up! Really great informative video! Thank you on behalf of all the people with acne problems for showing us there is hope there is a light at the end of this pimple disaster, thank you
I swear to God we have the same level of sensitivity towards things or literally anything that touches my face, ever since i had acne i treated my skin like an untouchable goddess
I think the apple cider vinegar helped because it's acidic. My acne treating lotion (Skinoren) is 20% acid. It does sting though. A lot of lotions have only 2-5%. I really recommend going to see a dermatologist asap if you are struggling. I also used Zineryt. It was more alcohol based and dried my skin but the alcohol killed the germs that caused my acne. My skin, years later, still isn't 100% recovered but if I had waited even longer, I would have waited forever for my skin to clear up. It's nearly there now. Also, I've noticed that my back acne is terrible if I ate unhealthily recently. As soon as I eat 'clean', it clears up like magic so I get the diet advice. Hope this helps someone. Good luck.
OMG THIS COMMENT😩👏🏾 yesss i get u MY BACNE clears up sooo well once i eat healhty butnit doesnt effect my face acne and yes everythin bout this comment👌🏾

Yeah man I went on zineryt and antibiotics my doc prescribed, the antibiotics worked really well in the long run and the zineryt cleared my mild to severish acne in about a 2 weeks.
@@abigailwilliams5478 never tried Apple Cider Vinegar on face, but I do drink it for the other benefits it gives. Just wanted to mention there are very different kinds of apple cider vinegar, some that are already diluted and some are not. The ones they sell where I live in are 5-6% apple cider vinegar while some brands elsewhere might have different percentages. Just saying this so you'll know the dilution rates don't apply equally on all brands. If I had to guess I would dilute that 5% one that I have 50/50 with water and if it seems to help then go with it but if it doesn't then gradually try stronger mixes. Stronger as in more vinegar, less water.
1. If you want your skin to be healthy and not just acne free you do have to moisturize. Moisturizers aren't just for dry skin, they are for oily skin too but ut should be oil free. 2. Don't DIY skincare like apple cider vinegar and toothpaste. It pay help at the moment but when it comes to your skin you should look up for long term solutions. 3. don't use FACE SCRUBS. Anything that has little grains in it is bad for ur face skin( u can use it on your body). U should look for chemical exfoliants rather than physical ones( scrubs like st.ives are physical) 4. Acne skin is sensitive. You should try to avoid fragrance be gentle with it. 5. if ur acne isn't getting better go see a dermatologist. it might seem expensive, but u can go to a public one(it's free) or go to a private one( i payed mine 30€ first time i came and every other check was free) This sounds as if I'm just ranting about ur video, but no, i just want to make sure people are aware of certain things. I know acne sucks, I'm dealing with it atm and I'm on accutane( I've been going to a dermatologist for 2 years and creams didn't help). I'd say my skin before accutane was at the middle stage and its getting better.
Please do not hate on me, I have never had a single pimple.. BUT BUT, I have to live with SEVERE eczema. I have read somewhere that what works for acne also works for eczema. If anyone has any way of helping me with this please speak up. DISGUSTING DETAIL ALERT: I wake up in the morning, and when I make my bed a shower of shedded skin drenches me. Also, I wake up in the morning and my pillow smells like pus. Eczema covers my shoulders, arms, face, and neck. Even behind the ears. HELP ME
Danielle Moniz I have several times but they keep giving me the exact same creams that do not work. Steroid creams don’t work either. I have dreams about a miracle product that will clear it all up. Thanks for the support though. 😘😘
Purchase Renew Lotion, it’s only sold by a company called melaleuca. I experience eczema but it’s not that severe. It’s under my arms and around my armpits. The lotion works wonders in moisturizing my skin and it heals it quickly.
Razer moisturising doesn’t do anything for me, I need something stronger. Eczema covers ,y whole face and it hurts, moisturiser doesn’t work. Thank you for your concern though xx 😘
I highly recommend the “ Mario Badescu” drying acne lotion. You can buy it at Ulta it’s $17. Omg it works so damn well, it does burn the first 30s but it’s worth it!!!It dries it out overnight, and then it goes away hella fast!!!❤️❤️❤️It’s a must get it now!
Living with acne is very hard My acne is all over my forehead And most of the time people would focus on my forehead instead of listening to what I'm talking abt... Plus I don't dare to look at anyone in the eye cuz im very insecure looking at their flawless face 😪😭
I know I'm late to this video but I wanna clear up a few things from this video that I personally found misleading, Keep in mind I am not a skincare expert but I have done alot of research in watching alot of dermatologists and skin care estheticians on youtube (aka Hyram and Cassandra Bankson) . I have also suffered from acne and gone to a dermatologist myself. 1. Apple cider vinegar as a toner is NOT GOING TO GET RID OF YOUR ACNE, this is science proven, sure for him this worked and everyone's skin is different but his experience doesnt mean that IT WILL WORK FOR EVERYONE. Apple cider vinegar is an astringent meaning that it dries out your acne, which might seem like a beneficial and satisfying thing, however when your use an astringent too often, overtime your skin starts to produce more and more oil because the apple cider vinegar is drying your skin, so your skin starts to see that it needs to produce more oil to compensate for how much your skin has dried. THIS WILL LEAD TO MORE CLOGGED PORES because the more oil is produced, the more clogged your pores become. 2. a toner isin't necessary but a moisturiser is, it might seem counterintuitive to put a moisturiser on oily skin, however putting a moisturiser on oily skin actually helps to reduce the amount of oil your skin produces. When you put a moisturiser on oily skin, your skin senses that it no longer needs to produce as much oil because it is moisturised and hydrated therefore it produces less oil. A moisturiser also helps to retain moisture in the skin. 3. DAIRY does not cause acne but it may worsen acne, for many people they have different trigers, some people are more sensitive to foods that are high in gluten and others are more sensitive to dairy. for him personally dairy wasn't a trigger, BUT KEEP IN MIND THAT IT IS A TRIGER FOR MANY PEOPLE and just because it wasn't a problem for him IT AFFECTS MANY MANY PEOPLE. this is why you should keep in mind that just because something doesn't work for him or did work for him, it is still inportant to do your own research. personal problems < science based facts. 4. IF YOU NEED MEDICATION OR TO CONSULT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL DO NOT BE ASHAMED - sure he was able to cure his acne without taking any medication but for some people including myself I WENT TO A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL AND WENT ON MEDICATION. of course accutance is one of the last things you wanna consider consIDERING the severe side effects that can come with taking this medication, for example if you've tried changing your diet, changing your skin care routine, etc. and nothing has worked for you, the dermatologist will then consider you accutane, however there are many other medications to treat less severe acne, not to mention dermatologists can also prescribe you with topical retinols and creams etc. Pls don;t attack me!!! I'm only trying to help as I understand how difficult it is to clear acne and I just don't want any misinformation spreading. please do your own research before trying any of these recommended products in the video !!!!!
Omg thank you for this!!!! this video is so old when I look back at it I’m just like wow.... I can’t believe I actually recommended all that... anyway I hope to make an updated one but for now thanks for this!!
Almost all of the info in this video WILL damage your skin more than help it. 1) HYDRATE AND MOISTURISE: By using hydrating toners/serums/essences and sealing in that hydration with a moisturiser. Doing this will balance out the moisture content of your skin. Well hydrated skin = healthy skin barrier. 2) CHEMICAL EXFOLIATION: Acids like an AHA or a BHA will gently exfoliate your skin. DO NOT, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, USE SCRUBS. JUST DON’T. They will cause micro tears in your skin and this will actually allow easy access for bacteria to enter your skin. What’ll happen, then? ACNE AND IRRITATION. 3) AVOID SULFATES and other surfactants in your cleanser. That’s why the Nivea cleansers were drying him out. Sulfates are what causes that foaming action in soaps. Yes, they’re great at cleansing, but they will also strip ALL of the skin’s natural sebum. 4) USE SUNBLOCK/SUNSCREEN: This has multiple benefits. Pls do your research. 5) Most importantly, BE GENTLE WITH YOUR SKIN. Treat it like a baby. Respect it. DO NOT USE HARSH INGREDIENTS OR ABRASIVE PRODUCTS.
You are HILARIOUS! I l almost choked when you mentioned black magic XD I'm tired of going online and seeing these people with 1 or 2 pimples and claiming they have horrible skin. I've had acne for 18 years and it used to be really bad. It's still bad, but not as bad as it was before. It really does mess with your mental health. I just want it gone, so I'm going to try apple cider vinegar and tumeric masks for the hyperpigmentation. I'm curious, though, did you use Braggs ACV or just the regular store-bought brand?
For me it started at 18 in 11th grade. almost overnight i went from ultra clear skin to sever acne between my brows, a lot on my chin on my forehead. Little kids in public were laughing about me. I tried a lot, but only natural olive oil and coconut oil helped so far to minimize
This is so relatable! I feel same but it's just that backacne with chestacne and faceacne is much worst The depression will literally make me exchange my soul with satan to cure it
i maintained clear skin since high school, i started using just a regular facial cleanser but at night, i would use RAW honey and lemon. if i had fresh aloe vera gel, i would mix it in there too and with the contents from a green tea bag after drinking it to exfoliate if need be. warm water first, then cold, finished it off with raw egg whites before bed to tighten the skin super hard (it feels good) and then wash it off, most importantly, drink lots of water and exercise (my friends would always invite me outside to play even when it's an infernal florida heat), wear caps and don't stay in the sun for too long (i would only go out with them before sunset). importance on tea, i drank so much of that shit i thought i was some kind of a superhero medicine. ate junk food (fast food) at least once every two weeks, i hope this helps, wish you the best. also massage your face to help fresh blood flow, if you have too many pimples you just want to avoid it so you don't get scars, i get a scar from pimples i dont touch either (nothing we can do just exfoliate accordingly to fade it). cant relate directly but i know that shit is temporary guys, your skin will get better oh yeah i remember drinking some apple cider vinegar diluted in water too at the time, but it tasted so bad and i slept a lot, i slept so much man haha when i drank milk, i would break out, when i put olive oil on my face, i would break out (i tried a lot of different shit ok, man i had a lot of free time back then) also eat lots of fruits, i downed so many kiwis (ate with washed skin on) sheets clean, room clean, clean hair, keep it away from face when clean or not also none of this shit matters if you dont eat healthy anyways, i know with acne, it might be unavoidable but eating healthy will certainly help to an extent no matter what also pee 10 timess a day, that's a lot of water my guy
I started having acnee at the age of 11. I didn’t care at first. *skip 5 years of it just getting worse and worse* Now I am 16 years old and I really feel sorry for anyone that has to see me everyday.
Hello bro I really liked your video and it motivated me too much , bro can you please help me in my case of acne scars at all part of my face , I'm so depressed and sometime i feel like I can't do anything because acne scars breaks my confidence 😕
Jae Sean Vines hey thank u so much im glad u like this!!! As for ur scarring i understand u like it made me sooo insecure too ;( but try using oxy scarring gel or overnight use a cream for acne scars OR consider buying banishacne dermaroller. Dont worry as long as u dont pop ur pples anymore, ur skin will get better!! Try not to let ur scars get to u so badly like it did for me :(
Ibrahim Kamit hello ,i didnt pop my pimples but it leaving a red marks. is oxy effective ?? well im inspired in ur video (sorry for my grammar im not good in english)
Welp in my experience w severe acne ...i dont pop my pimple..i simply open my mouth (yawning) and I see blood + pus running in my cheeks TvT. I treat my acne with Benzoyl Peroxide before but I do not know it have side effect which is leaving a red scar named Post Inflammatory Erythema.I have a lot of it and it look like I still have a severe acne but actually it was just like 2-3 active acne on my face.Good thing is the scar will fade but it will need a lot of time hhuhuhuh also here a few things that i use to treat my acne -I use DIY Green tea + honey mask -Use clindamycin and adapalene -Niacinamide(This can trigger acne but still can use if 2-3% concentration) -I also use tretinoin -I took supplement vit C,zinc, primrose oil, omega 3 fish oil and garlic,I drink the ACV for lose weight I tried to use it as a toner but my skin feel itchy so I stop. My current skin concern is acne scar i have no idea how to get rid of it fast but i believe it will heal slowly even many people judge my skin
I hope you dont use all of that everyday.. just use 1 treatment in a day is safer.. & from all those treatments, please use sunscreen everyday! For the acne scar, maybe u can try hydroxy acids/alpha arbutin. Niacinamide can help too btw ✅. Hope this helps 👌
@@shauk33 I stop a few tratment like the antibiotic and adapalane. I only list down all things that I have tried that works for me when dealing with acne.Anyways my PIE scar is getting better the only thing left is my ice pick and rolling scar which I know the best treatment for that is laser treatment.Too bad I'm broke can't afford it🤣. Ps. I do use sunscreen and moistures everyday.Anyway thank you soo much for the suggestion.
Tip for people with oily skin and large pores try the face wash differin with a moisturizer (btw u can buy this at walmart it's called differin cleanser daily deep) the shit works
I agree with the mental containment and the diet one. At the end of grade two or the start of grade three I had acne. Blackheads and pimples all over my face. My friends always ask "what are those black dots on your face?!" I really wanna be an actor but I never think I could because of my acne. I'm now 11 and I'm still suffering with acne. Not as bad but it's still pretty severe. I get insecure with it, also, I recommend Niro training. It may help with acne. Drink water and at least use your skin product once a day and wash your face twice a day. Try to eat healthy but still eat some junk food at times.
Honestly although it may seem like all these tips and pointers really cured his acne it’s really because he just grew up and his hormones and sebum production went down because he’s probably done with puberty. When your going through puberty as a teen your sebum levels rise to stupid levels on the surface of your face which Cause clogged pores
You know what hurts most, hearing criticisms about your face from people, even the little ones. There were times that I am feeling positive and then one would notice my face, in just a snap, my mood changed.
